Root canals can stop the pain in its tracks and save and protect a patient's natural tooth. Don't put off treatment for your tooth because waiting will only increase the pain and the potential for further damage.

When the infection runs deep enough into the tooth's roots, or the canals of the root are too narrow for the dentist to reach by drilling into the tooth, apical root surgery may be necessary to save the tooth and stop the pain.

It is common for patients to experience nervousness or anxiety when visiting the dentist. Some can manage it on their own, but for others, the stress involved can keep them from ever visiting the dentist.

At Burleson Endodontics, we don't want our patient's fears keeping them from needing treatment. We offer sedation dentistry to help patients. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of conscious sedation or IV sedation with Dr. Fitzhugh to determine if sedation dentistry is right for you.
