Dr. Burgin grew up in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated as a Wildcat in 2000. He then went on to be a Red Raider at Texas Tech University, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry. He attended Dental School at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and moved back to Clovis to open up a practice in August of 2008.
Dr. Burgin is a devout Christian and attends Faith Christian Family Church. He also loves giving back to his community and people in need. He has been to Bethel Orphanage in Mexico several times to help them with their dental health. He is the former Eastern New Mexico Dental Society President and is currently the Vice President. He also helped to bring New Mexico Mission of Mercy, a free dental clinic, to Clovis in March of 2018. He loves dentistry, loves helping people, and loves having staff that is not only good at what they do, but they are fun, kind, and they all make the days fun, while helping out their patients.
Holly grew up in Clovis, New Mexico and went to college at Texas Tech University and majored in Early Childhood Education. She married Dr. Burgin in April of 2005. They then moved to Kansas City, Missouri and while Jeremy was in Dental School, she earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Learning Technologies. She then went on to teach for 7 years in elementary school.
Holly has worked at basically every position in the office, starting with the dental assistant, front desk, office cleaner and then worked as the office manager for 7 years, before handing the job over. She keeps very busy with her three children and running the office. She loves to stay active by running and working out. She also competed in her second half marathon with Dr. Burgin. She loves to travel and see the world, cook (a new found love), loves to stay active in their church, and go to the lake with family and friends.
Dr. Lunt grew up in and around Los Angeles. He attended Brigham Young University for undergrad and graduate school and returned to Los Angeles for dental school at UCLA. Upongraduation from UCLA, Dr. Lunt became a dentist for the Air Force and attended a 1-year residency in advanced dentistry in Washington, DC. He is currently stationed at Cannon AFB where he works as a full-time Air Force dentist.
He met and married his wife, Ali, in Los Angeles. They have two young children, Grizzly and Zara, and the family dog, Teddy. They enjoy going to the mountains, camping, hiking and traveling to see family in California and Utah. Dr. Lunt is an avid mountain biker and takes every opportunity to ride. He has competed in many biking events over the years, including a 12-hour mountain bike race in Oregon.
Inspired by mentors at UCLA and his dentist father, Dr. Lunt strives for excellence in all aspects of his field. He loves to work, learn and help people improve their oralhealth. He is excited to bepart of the team at Burgin Dentistry.
Janae Thorn is the scheduling, financial, treatment and insurance coordinator at Burgin Dentistry. About 12 years ago, she made a career change, and she fell in love with the dental field!! Prior to the dental field, Janae was an adjunct instructor at Clovis Community College for eight years. After smelling lots of roses on the way, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Eastern New Mexico University.
Janae is a Clovis native. She is blessed to be married to a wonderful man, Robert, for almost 19 years, and she has three wonderful kiddos: Morgan, Dylan, and Brandon that keep her and Robert busy and young! Janae enjoys spending many sun-soaking days at Conchas lake with her family, flying to new destinations when possible, and trying new recipes.
Tatum is a local of this area and graduated from Portales High School in 2005. Her love of dentistry first began in 2004, when she started out as a dental assistant. Tatum wanted to continue on in the dental field and expand her expertise and passion for oral health so she attended the University of New Mexico and earned her degree in 2010 as a registered dental hygienist along with a license to administer local anesthesia.
Tatum loves everything about dentistry! She loves working with people and educating them on dental homecare, and helping to improve their oral health. Her goal is to make each and every patient feel loved, comfortable, and satisfied with the outcome of their smile.
Outside of work, Tatum has two beautiful children by the names of Kasen and Taylin. She loves spending every minute watching them grow up. Tatum also enjoys traveling, going to the lake, working out, and photography in her spare time.
Michele is a veteran in the field of dental hygiene. She gradated and received her dental hygiene license from Amarillo College in 1997. She pursued her anesthesia license from UNM in 2005. Her passion is helping people improve their self esteem in their smiles. Outside of her dental family, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, traveling and experiencing outdoor adventures.
Lacie is a graduate of Idaho State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. She has found a great passion for providing long term education on prevention, disease and health management. Her favorite part about her profession is the ability to meet and interact with such amazing patients.
Lacie loves spending time with her husband Jared of 16 years and their 4 children: Keaton (13), Macy (11), Maddox (9) and Ellie (7). They love the outdoors and enjoy every opportunity to stay active and fit. They are grateful to have spent the last 4 years in Clovis, discovered what the Land of Enchantment is all about.
Consuelo is a Portales native, who has her husband Carlos and 3 amazing grown children, Iesha, Teddy and Mercedes. She also has 1 grandson, Josiah, who is the light of her life. Some of Consuelo's favorite pastimes are cooking, working in her yard and spending as much time as possible with her friends and family.
Consuelo came to the dental assisting field in the year 2000, when she felt she found the passion and joy of her life. There is nothing that brings her more joy than being able to change people 's smiles and lives by helping them conquer their fears and anxiety of visiting the dentist. She has an extensive background in assisting in oral surgeries, such as sinus lifts and implants, and also has been assisting in sedation dentistry for over 10 years. Her motto is that the best thing you could ever do for your patient is to just be patient and listen to their concerns and fears. 'It 's amazing how much it will calm someone down just letting them know that you care and that being scared is ok.' The only thing that makes it better is working with a team that shares the same goals and Consuelo feels that at Dr. Burgin 's office that is exactly what she has found. 'The dental field is not easy. It 's long hours, skipping lunches and being on the clock even when you are not 'on the clock.' If you can help just one person overcome their fear, overcome their anxiety, make their dream of a beautiful smile happen, and watch them share that smile with you, with tears in their eyes, it makes every minute worth it.'
Kelly Bradley is the happy wife of Chase Bradley and proud mother of their son Price. She is a 2001 graduate of UNM and is a third generation Lobo. She brings experience, compassion and humor to our practice. She has been a registered dental hygienist for 19 years and loves to provide an encouraging and comfortable environment in which people can enhance their health. Amen. She loves Jesus and has nappy hair. (self proclaimed, lol)
Alessandra Carbo was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Portales, NM. Growing up she enjoyed being outdoors, cheerleading, dance and is a huge animal lover. She now is cheerleader to her 5 children as they keep her busy with school activities and sports.
In August of 2014 she was hired as medical assistant at Sievers Sports medicine, training under Dr. Joel Sievers. She assisted in joint therapy procedures, medical transcribing for diagnostic ultrasounds and X-ray reports. She was in charge of in-house rehabilitation and E-stim therapy to patients. She went over extensive medical histories and vitals. She was certified in flu and strep testing and was also the main contact to patients to go over lab results and referrals.

Pleasant and friendly environment!, Ms. Tatum was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything step by step, answered any questions or concerns I had! This is definitely my go to spot for teeth cleaning from here on out!!

I was very nervous about the procedure I was undergoing today, but my technician was awesome in explaining everything that was taking place, which gave me much relief and allowed me to relax. Michelle was very personable, patient and thorough. I would like to commend the entire staff for their ability to provide a calm and inviting atmosphere. Awesome Job, looking forward to my next visit!!!

Everything about this visit was great. The receptionists were so kind and welcoming and the hygienist (Kelly) was exceptional. Not only was it the most thorough dental exam I've had in a long time but it was just altogether an enjoyable experience!

The culture of Burgin Dentistry is rich in passion, devotion, & love. My 8 year old daughter had to have a partial root canal, and Burgin Dentistry's approach in keeping my daughter's needs & comfort at the forefront, enabled her to handle the procedure like a champ - which was a blessing to her and our family!

As someone that is very picky with her dentist I can say I am more than pleased I chose to go here! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I went with my 1 month old and staff members held him when he cried so I could get my teeth cleaned. It was a very positive experience to know they're not only professionals in the dentistry part but they become your friends!

Everyone in this office is so nice; they explain everything to you before doing it, they were so patient with me when my nerves were freaking me out, and I left feeling really great about my visit! Setting up a treatment plan was very easy and informative, and they answered every single question I had. Also, even though my teeth are in pretty bad shape right now, they never made me feel bad or self-conscious about it, just happy to get started on fixing everything.

Let me start by saying I fear the dentist! I had a very bad experience 3 years ago while getting my teeth cleaned at another dentist officer here in town. When I left I thought when I looked in the mirror it would look like I went 10 rounds with Rocky Balboa. I felt the hygienist straddled by face with a hammer and a chisel and went to work. No I don't have bad hygiene. I have never been in so much pain during and following a teeth cleaning...and I have had some bad experiences (30 years military). Dr. Burgin's staff recognized this and made me feel comfortable. They were welcoming, funny and created an environment which calmed my nerves...and that was just at the front desk while I was checking in! Then the real anxiety set in when they called me back. The hygienist also recognized the fear I had and immediately started putting me at ease. Starting with the x-ray she explained everything that was going on. The ONLY reason I went back to a dentist is because I was having an issue with a tooth. She saw on the x-ray what was wrong and told me the doctor is most likely going to say I have a cavity and sure enough, she was right. Then we moved back to the chair of pain! Once again she was calming. When she got done with the eval and started cleaning she was what I would describe as gentle. Yes there was some pain as you would normally expect but it was NOTHING like my last experience. I will never go to another dentist or hygienist. Very little blood, very little pain lots of cleaning! I have only said the hygienist up to this point but from here on out Michele is MY hygienist. She is simply amazing! Last time I was done they (my previous dentist) told me to make another appointment for another cleaning in 6 months. I walked right by the appointment desk, took my teeth that were hanging on by a thread at this point, and walked right by the appointment desk swearing never to be in another torture chamber again. This time I stopped at the desk and was ready to schedule another cleaning next week! It was that comforting. I am looking forward to my next cleaning appointment with Dr. Burgin and Michele in 6 months. If you are in the tri-city area of Clovis, Portales, Texaco I highly recommend Burgin Dentistry, specifically Dr. Burgin and Michele! You will not regret it.

My appointment today was thorough, and my concerns about my dental care due to my health issues were priority and handled with genuine professionalism. My teeth looked and felt great after my cleaning. It was stress free! There were several options offered to me, and I was allowed to make my own choice with no pressure. Thank you!

I had a 5 star review up for this office, but I cannot recommend their services to anyone with children. They refuse to fill cavities if they cannot use laughing gas. They gave laughing gas to my son without my consent and then charged me $70 for it! It was a horrible experience and I refuse to see a provider that does not value parental rights.

We've been going to Burgin Dentistry for almost 3 years and would 100% recommend! Each trip has been great and we're always met with such kindness. They're also so wonderful and patient with our small children. Our kids LOVE going to the dentist and that makes us so happy. 10/10

I cannot say enough about Burgin Dentistry! As embarrassing as it is to say, it had been forever since my teeth were cleaned. Life gets in the way. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the warmest welcome. That welcome was followed by the most professional and kind treatment I have experienced in a very long time. The cleaning, mind you a deep cleaning was done quickly and as painlessly as it can be! I have found my dentist! Thank you all!

Awesome dental experience! I met several staff members and they were all wonderful! The hygienist explained everything very thoroughly and gave me some great and very practical advice. Not good mention the fact that my teeth haven't felt this clean in years.
