Dr. Kory L. Bumgardner, DDS is a native of Hastings, NE. He graduated from St. Cecilia High School in 1992. After high school, he attended undergraduate studies at Hastings College where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts. He then graduated from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry in May 2001 where he received his degree in Doctor Of Dental Surgery. He has been practicing dentistry in Hastings since June of 2001.
Dr. Bumgardner likes to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry. He spends many hours on continuing education so that he provided the highest quality of dentistry possible. Hes a member of the American Dental Association, Adams County Dental Association, Southwest District Dental Association, and Nebraska Dental Association.
Jourdan was born and raised near Minneapolis, Minnesota. After receiving her Bachelors degree in English, she found her passion in dentistry while working as a dental assistant and attended CCC-Hastings for dental hygiene, graduating in 2015. She currently lives in Hastings with her husband, Marc, and daughter, Charlee. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, golfing and skiing.
Katie joined our team after graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at Central Community College in May of 2015. She has already expanded her knowledge by working with a variety of dentists. Katie is committed to educating and empowering her patients to take ownership of their oral health. She uses the latest technology and techniques available in dentistry ensuring patients ongoing dental health. Katie has certifications in radiography, coronal polishing, local anesthesia, monitoring nitrous, supra and sub gingival scaling, CPR, AED, sealants, and nutritional counseling. Aside from dentistry, Katie has interests in reading, shopping,golfing, traveling and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Emily joined the team in June 2019. She graduated from CCCs dental Hygiene program in may 2019. Her goal is to help you achieve and maintain good oral hygiene habits and to make sure getting your teeth cleaned is a positive experience.
Karissa was born and raised in Hastings NE. She graduated from CCC in 2008 with an AAS degree in dental assisting. Her passion is helping others. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and their dog Olly and also going camping.
Regan graduated with a dental assistant degree from Hastings Community College. She joined our team in June of 2019 and enjoys coming to work where she assists alongside Dr. Bumgardner giving quality care to patients Regan is engaged to her best friend Nathan and they plan to be married in the fall of 2020. In her free time Regan enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her Fiance, leading youth group on Wednesday nights and leading worship on Sunday mornings at North Shore Church.
Paige received a bachelors degree in Psychology from Emporia State University in 2017. While being at Emporia State, she was a member of the Indoor and Outdoor collegiate track team where she participated in sprints and jumps. Paige joined our office in January of 2020 as a Dental Assistant. Her favorite part about the job is being able to communicate with the patients and learn new dental techniques alongside Dr. Bumgardner. Paige is engaged to Nick Lonowski and plans to be wed in June of 2020. In her free time Paige likes to attend sporting events, hang out with friends, and spend time with her Fianc and two dogs, Patches and Gucci.

Kory and his team are fantastic. They go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible. When it comes to scheduling appointments they do everything they can to get you the day and time you request. Most of my family goes here. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I know you don't hear this very often, but I LOVE Dr. Baumgardner! He is personable, professional, and up-to- date on the newest procedures. His nurses are GREAT!! I don't dread dentist appts! Greatest dentist to go to!! And.. thanks, Katie, for the excellent cleaning and conversation!

I am very satisfied with Bumgardner Family Dentist. All employees are very friendly and helpful. I had one small cavity and was able to get it filled the same day. This was very convenient for me. A very nice place to go for your dentist work.
