Axl is our BHD therapy dog. He is a red miniature golden doodle and was born on May 18, 2018. He joined the Sykes Family in July 2018 and has since gone through many hours of obedience and therapy dog training. He is currently working with Paws 4 Hearts Working Therapy Dogs, a local program serving San Antonio and surrounding areas. Axl is available to provide support and encouragement for patients with dental anxiety. In his spare time, he loves taking long walks, chasing his miniature horse friends, and playing with Dr. Sykes children, Barrett & Zoran.

Always a wonderful experience at Bulverde Hills Dental! Dr. Sykes and his staff make going to the dentist a good experience, not one to fear! Have been a client for nearly 15 years!

Looking for a dentist in Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake and North San Antonio, you need to come here!! From the front office staff, the dental hygienists and the Dr's Sykes and Cobb, you will always be treated as family!!

Amazing office! The first impression from the front staff (Rebecca) was so friendly and welcoming! The hygienist was informative, patient and kind! (Ashley). Dr Sykes was thorough and kind! Definitely recommend this office!!!

Ashley was amazing! I don't think my teeth have ever felt so clean and she didn't make me jump once! And Dr. Cobb was very thorough explaining what she was seeing and wasn't rushed at all. So grateful for them both! I've found my new dentist!!!

What a fantastic operation Bulverde Hills Dental runs! I was concerned about my kids and I having multiple appointments throughout the day (due to my personal calendar conflicts). They got us in and out quickly, their team is super kid-friendly, and Dr. Cobb was super helpful.

The office is very nice and the staff is great. They were very friendly and helpful. I had Ernie, Stacey and Dr. Cobb work on my teeth and all of them were good at explaining everything that was going on. I'm actually looking forward to going back in six months.

Awesome practice, everyone is very professional and friendly and the dental care they provide is great. They explain your plan of care, costs, procedures and they're very accommodating with scheduling. I would definitely recommend them.

The entrance was not correctly pinpointed by Google maps. Very friendly staff. FANTASTIC membership program for me with no dental insurance! Remarkable communication through every step of my initial xray and cleaning as far as explaining what words and numbers meant. THE VIEW FORM THE TREATMENT ROOMS! They have enormous windows with views of wild birds feeding on their multiple bird feeders, deer and a natural combination of cedars brush. Dr. Sykes was very thorough with not only inspection of my teeth and gums, but with his analysis of where I am in my dental health and recommendations. Rebecca at patient close out was very happy to show me my savings with the membership program and even helped me find my wallet! I had put it down to pet Axel the office certified therapy dog. He was amazing and was the cherry on top to my life's best dentist visit. Thank you all and can't wait to come back for my regular cleaning! -Adolfo

My wife Jo and I have been going to Bulverde Hills Dental for 6 yrs. Dr. Sykes and his staff are excellent at what they do. They are all very professional and also very friendly. Superb dental care and fair prices. This is a first class dental practice. Highly recommended!

Wow! What an experience! We have been dreading finding a new family dentist. After great reviews from local mom groups and word of mouth from friends we decided to give Bulverde Hills a shot. We are SO glad we did. Everyone from the receptionist, office staff, hygienist and dentist were so accommodating and friendly. My 7yr old was excited they had a dog and was not disappointed after getting to meet him at the end of our visit. She says she loves her "girl squad" that she got to meet and can't wait to see the fluff ball again! She used her tooth brush kit and worked on flossing as soon as she got home because she wants to make sure they are all proud of her when she gets to go back! You all have an outstanding staff! Thank you for making our little "big" girls experience so positive!
