Dr. Ryan Bullen was raised in northwestern Arizona and graduated from Kingman High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Nevada Las Vegas and went on to earn his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from UNLV as well. After graduation with honors from UNLV, he then completed two additional years of specialty training in orthodontics along with a second doctorate degree of Health Science at A.T. Still University located in Mesa, AZ.
Dr. Ryan Bullen has always had the dream of returning to northern Arizona and working alongside his father Dr. Carl Bullen of Kingman, AZ. Dr. Ryan has been married to his wife Keli since 2005 and they have 4 sons Tae, Landon, Briggs, and Weston. In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys motorcycles, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Carl Bullen is a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1980, married his wife, Joan, and moved to Richmond, Virginia where he attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dental Medicine. After graduating in 1984 with a DDS degree, Dr. Bullen continued his training as a Resident in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, also at the Medical College of Virginia, and graduated from there in 1986 as a Specialist in Children's Dentistry. It was during this time, working with children and young adults, that he recognized the truly life-changing benefits that Orthodontics could have on a person's life, and made the decision to specialize in Orthodontics.
After a two year residency in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, Dr. Bullen, along with his wife and 4 children, made the move to Mojave County, Arizona., to begin his professional career.
Dr. Bullen remembers stepping out of the U-Haul into 120 degrees heat and wondering if they had made the right decision. Now, over 25 years later, his answer is absolutely yes! There have been so many wonderful memories and patients who have become life long friends. It has truly been a wonderful journey and career thus far.
Dr. Bullen is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. He has been associated with the Boy Scouts of America for the past 30 years and enjoys hiking, fishing, and flying. His favorite past time is spending time with his wife, seven children and several grandchildren.

Thank you!! This place is amazing. We are here for vacation for 8 days and my daughter forgot her rubber bands And they were able to give us rubber bands so she didn't delay treatment!! Truly appreciate that so much. Thank you again

My son is not their patient, but his wire broke on a day his ortho's office is closed. The wire was sticking out too much to cover in wax and was causing son a lot of pain. Bullen's office took him in right away EVEN THOUGH HE IS NOT THEIR PATIENT! I am so grateful they were willing to help us before he suffered a deep cut. THANK YOU!

Love Bullen Orthodontics and the staff. Having braces is not easy but they are always so friendly and available for those after hour bracket breaks and wire pokes. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know needing braces!
