Dr. Chad A. Bulleigh received his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2002. While in dental school, he completed an honors externship in orthodontics at the University of Chicago-Illinois and was a top graduate in his dental school class. Dr. Bulleighs residency in orthodontics was completed at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated from his orthodontic class with top honors and was class representative.

Dr. Bulleigh majored in biology while playing baseball at Cloud County Community College. Dr. Bulleigh was selected as an NJCAA Academic All-American in the sport of baseball while at Cloud County. Upon graduation from Cloud County, Dr. Bulleigh majored in pre-dentistry at Kansas State University where he was granted early acceptance into the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.

Dr. Bulleigh is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Kansas City Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Fifth District Dental Society.

He also volunteers with many charitable and civic organizations, such as Smiles Change Lives Community Orthodontic Program, Operation Smile, the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce and the Dental Public Health Children Outreach Program. In his free time he enjoys golf, tennis, baseball, fishing, and spending time with his family. Dr. Bulleigh and his wife, Julie, have three kids now, with his wife recently having twins (a boy and a girl!).

Dr. Bulleigh and his team are excited to welcome Dr. Kaylee Bergman to the practice. Dr. Bergman grew up in Augusta, KS and attended Kansas State University for her undergraduate education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Biology. Upon graduation, she moved to Kansas City and worked as a Chemical Process Engineer prior to pursuing her career in dentistry.

Dr. Bergman completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery education at UMKC School of Dentistry and continued her post-doctoral training at UMKC, earning a specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During residency, Dr. Bergman also earned a Masters of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. She is particularly interested in material sciences and enjoys integrating her engineering background in the practice of orthodontics.

Dr. Bergman is involved with professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Midwest Society of Orthodontics, and Greater Kansas City Society of Orthodontics.

Dr. Jewell grew up in Lee's Summit, MO and graduated from Lee's Summit West High School. She attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL for her undergraduate degree, Roll Tide! There she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Spanish After graduation she returned to Kansas City for dental school at UMKC School of Dentistry.

After completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery education at UMKC she continued her postdoctoral training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where she earned her specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During her time at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Jewell also earned her Masters in Biomedical Sciences Orthodontics.

In Dr. Jewell's free time she loves spending it with her husband, Matthew and their daughter Cedar Bea. Dr. Jewell and her husband are huge Kansas City sports fans and you can catch them cheering on the Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC! Dr. Jewell enjoys running and being active, she has run several marathons and completed a half ironman.

Dr. Kristen Sander grew up in Wichita, Kansas, where she was very involved in music and theater in addition to graduating from Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School with honors. She moved to Kansas City to attend Rockhurst University where she won the Trustees Scholarship and continued to be very involved in the arts. She majored in psychology, finishing Summa Cum Laude. She also met her husband, John, while they were both studying at Rockhurst. Upon graduation, Dr. Sander commenced her dental education at the UMKC School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. She remained there to continue training in the specialty of orthodontics, obtaining both a certificate as well as a Masters degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. While excelling in her post-doctoral studies, Dr. Sander also became a mom. She and John welcomed their son, Michael, in November 2014.

Dr. Sander is involved in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwest Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Society of Orthodontists.

When Dr. Sander has spare time, she loves to spend it with her family. She enjoys music, theater, being outside, cooking, and traveling to new places. Orthodontics is Dr. Sanders passion, and she is excited to be sharing it with the Bulleigh Orthodontics family!

Lori has been in the dental field for 30+ years, 15 of those working for Dr. Bulleigh. Lori has been happily married for 27 years and has three beautiful children. In Loris spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, decorating, gardening, cooking, reading and all forms of exercise.

Suzette has over 20 years of orthodontic experience, 13 of those have been with Dr. Bulleigh. Suzette is happily married and is blessed with two amazing sons. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, playing with her puppies, trips to the lake, gardening, and cooking.

Judy has been in the orthodontic field for 25 years and with Dr. Bulleigh for nine years. Judy has been happily married for 28 years and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, and long walks.

Susan has been in the dental field for 25 years and 11 of those with Bulleigh Orthodontics. She has been happily married for 34 years, has two wonderful sons, two wonderful daughter in laws and 5 grandchildren. Susan enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.

Ashley has been in the dental field for 14 years, 10 of those have been at Bulleigh Orthodontics. She has been married for 4 years and has 2 children. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, fishing and traveling to new places.

Sheila has been in the orthodontic field for over 38 years and has happily worked with Dr. Bulleigh for ten of those years. Sheila and her husband enjoy golfing, cycling, listening to live music and spending time with her grandchildren and English bulldog, Savannah.

Amy was born and raised in Manhattan, KS. She has over 27 years of experience in orthodontics; the last six years have been at Bulleigh Orthodontics. Amy and her husband, Jason, have been married for 23 years and they have a teenage son, Brett. Amy loves to bake, shop, eat Mexican food, travel to the Caribbean Islands and is an avid K-State fan.

La has over 16 years of dental experience; she enjoys caring for patients, doing whatever possible to create an easy and enjoyable experience. La has been happily married for 16 years and has been blessed with two beautiful children. In her spare time, La likes to spend time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and traveling.

Michelle joined Bulleigh Orthodontics in 2016 after 14 years in education. Michelle has been happily married to her husband Tim since 1997 and has three great children, a son in law and a house full of pets who keep her busy with their many activities. Michelle enjoys decorating, gardening, cooking, shopping but mostly loves spending time with her family and friends.

Theresa has been in the orthodontic field for 15 years, three of those have been with Dr. Bulleigh. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Theresa also loves to cook and spend time with her two dogs, Zelig and Hunter.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Paige has been in the orthodontic field for over 7 years. Paige is our main orthodontic lab technician and makes a variety of appliances such at retainers. In her spare time, Paige enjoys a multitude of hobbies that bring out her creative side, including crocheting, jewelry making and refinishing furniture.

Julie joined Bulleigh Orthodontics in 2016. Julie has been married for 20 years and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family while camping, skiing and family Sundays. In her spare time, Julie enjoys baking, sewing and watching her kids in their many activities.

April has been in the dental field for 6 years, working first in general dentistry before switching to orthodontics. She began her career in orthodontics with Dr. Bulleigh in 2017. April is passionate about helping patients achieve beautiful smiles. She has lived in the Shawnee area for over 23 years. Outside of work, April is a busy sports mom to two crazy, active boys. When not watching her boys do what they love, she enjoys doing house and landscape projects.

Karen has spent the past 2 years with Dr. Bulleigh and a total of 14 years in the dental field both in orthodontics and education. She enjoys helping her husband restore their 134 year old Victorian home in downtown Lawrence and creating handmade soaps in her free time.

Stefanie has been in the orthodontic field for 4 years and has been with Bulleigh Orthodontics since 2018. Stefanie enjoys being an orthodontic assistant; bonding with patients and watching them progress through treatment. When Stefanie is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and traveling.

Erika has been proudly helping create perfect smiles in Kansas City for the last 20 years. She is passionate about perfection and truly loves amazing smiles. Erika is happily married with five wonderful children and a house full of pets. In her free time, Erika enjoys sharpening her skills on the pool table, cooking every day and traveling.

Hannah has been in the dental field since 2013. She loves orthodontics and the result it creates. She loves meeting new patients every day, building relationships with them and seeing their confidence grow from day one. When patients see their new smile for the first time and they cant stop smiling, they are endlessly thankful and that is what most is fulfilling to Hannah. Outside of work, Hannah and her husband stay busy with their two daughters. Hannah enjoys teaching her daughters to bake.

Shar joined Bulleigh Orthodontics in 2018 after being in the field of education for 30 years. She and her husband, Dennis, have been blessed with 31 years of marriage and have a wonderful daughter and son. Shar enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exercising and watching baseball.

Jessica has over 6 years of experience in the orthodontic field. She is happily married and blessed with a little boy, Sutton. She enjoys shopping, managing her Tiny Babes Boutique, cooking and taking care of her three Dobermans.

Kristen has been in the orthodontic field for about a year now. She has been married for 13 years and has 2 children plus 2 stepchildren. Kristen loves watching her kids play sports, running, and spending time with her family.

Adriana has been in the orthodontic field since 2000. She is from Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She is happily married and has a daughter in college. She enjoys riding her bike, gardening, cooking, knitting, and loves dogs.

Julie has enjoyed being an orthodontic assistant for 6 years. She keeps herself busy outside of work by camping, hiking, and on road trips. Julie enjoys activities with her husband and three children.

Lana has been in the orthodontic field for over 20 years and has recently joined our team. She has been married for 21 years and has three amazing boys. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping and traveling.
