I am an Oregon native and take great pride in serving the community in which I was raised. I found my passion in dentistry at a very young age, having worked in the dental field since the age of 18. Dentistry allows me to make a difference.For many, just picking up the phone to make that initial phone call is a big deal.My obligation to my patients starts with that first callthey make to my office.My goal is to relieve anxiety and make my patients associate my office with comfort and ease.I listen to my patients.Not all goals are the same and when I meet someone for the first time, it is my duty to get to the heart of what they need and want.Whether it ends up being full mouth cosmetic and restorative reconstruction, orthodontic correction, just a couple crowns or fillings or just a new place to have routine cleanings.I give options, respect choices and aspire to provide the highest standard of care with compassion and integrity.

Working in dental offices throughout college and dental school, I have a deep understanding and respect for every role played by my amazing team members. I know first-hand that it takes a dedicated and cohesive team with a shared mission to make every visit stand out for our patients. This is why I feel so incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team of dental professional working with me every day to make our office truly stand out.

My goal is to treat our patients and their families for life, which means I have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with them. It is an honor to see the same patients year after year and to treat whole families, their extended relatives and friends!

It is my mission to provide our patients with the best care available in a comfortable and positive environment. In order for me to succeed in this, it is imperative to keep informed of the latest techniques and technologies, and to continually reinvest in my practice in the best interest of my patients. I frequently participate in continuing education to ensure I remain up to date with the most leading-edge techniques and technology available in dentistry. I attend national and local study clubs, which gives me an opportunity to discuss cases with my colleagues.

One of the things I am most passionate about is providing the excellent care we are known for to those who might not have the resources available to them. I have had the distinct honor of working with some amazing organizationsMedical Teams International and Mission of Mercyproviding dental treatment to those most in need.

My team and I are especially excited about the time we have spent with one of our local schools, Alberta Rider Elementary, where we have regularly volunteered our time providing oral health screenings, hygiene instruction, and dietary advice to children. There have even been occasions we were able to offer treatment to children in desperate need of care. I can think of nothing more fulfilling than giving back to the community.

My husband, who is also a dentist, and I havetwo sons, elevenyear-oldJohn, and sevenyear-old Cyrus. Our family loves getting outdoors as much as possible and weenjoycamping, hiking and skiing.Our boys love to play soccer,basketball, golf and ski.As an avid runner, Ihave enjoyed participating in marathons and half marathons although my favorite run these days involves one milers with my boys.I also enjoy cooking, baking and just relaxing with family and friends.

For me, dentistry as a profession is about meeting new people, helping to relieve pain or anxiety, improving a persons smile, and empowering others to make their oral health and overall wellbeing a priority. I want others to feel confident about their smile, and I want to help people achieve their personal goals and treatment outcomes!

I have practiced dentistry for the last seven years. The field appealed to me because I wanted to be part of a profession where I could learn a skill that would really help people universally. Oral health is such an important part of ones total body health, and its rewarding to be part of a community that shares this mentality.

Our practice values our patients opinions, desires, and limitations. We incorporate each persons concerns into their personalized treatment plan, and are always respectful of their unique situation and concerns.

Our team is energetic, positive, hardworking, and knowledgeable! Coming to a new dental office, especially if one has had unpleasant prior experiences or its been a while since their last visit, can be intimidating. Our team wants to make everyone feel like family. From the minute someone walks through the door, we want them to feel cared for and comfortable.

Oral healthcare is a constantly evolving field. Through a range of continuing educational pursuits, I stay current with new technologies and techniques that allow me to better serve patients. I want people to feel confident when they come to our practice that they are receiving the best possible care.

When Im not practicing dentistry, I enjoy running half marathons, skiing in the winter, and golfing in the summer. I also spend free time oil painting and cooking. Kraig and I love to travel, experiencing new-to-us cities, cultures, and foods.

My family, and the many wonderful friends I have made in the Pacific Northwest, are my greatest passions. I enjoy spending time with our six nieces and nephews close by, and am an avid Oregon Ducks and Portland Timbers fan!

I love working with our amazing patients. In my role as a hygienist, Im lucky to spend an hour or more with our patients a couple of times a year, which means I get a chance to really know them. I have an amazing career, and truly wonderful people to work with!

I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my husband and two sons. I enjoy kayaking, camping, and taking my dog Rogue on walks. I also love traveling; I have been to Japan, Spain, and Italy and would love to go to Australiaor New Zealand.

I have a young son, so when not at the office I am always busy trying to keep up with him!My family and I recently moved to Oregon from Pennsylvania and are loving getting to explore the beautiful PNW.

As a young girl, I admired my dental assistants because they always made my experience at the dentist more comfortable and put me at ease. This inspired me to do the same for children and adults alike, especially those with a fear of going to the dentist. I grew up in Beaverton, & graduated from Southridge High School. I then followed my passion for dentistry by completing the dental assisting program at Cambridge College in 2008.

I have been at Bull Mountain Family Dentistry for almost five years.As our office manager I get to work with Dr. Schuyler and the rest of the team to ensure our patients are getting the best experience/treatment possible.

I recently joined the team at Bull Mountain Family Dentistry and had previously worked at a pediatric dental office. I started working in the dental field a few years ago and liked it so much I decided to do dental assistant school so that I could learn even more. One thing that I contribute to the office is that I am bilingual and can help patients who speak Spanish!
