My father, Dr. Earl Buehner, Jr., has been caring for the Minersville community for over 35 years. As a child, I remember patients coming into our home as I played out front and, on occasion, watching him work with someone inside the office. He has always been highly dedicated to the health of his patients, and he genuinely cares about each and every person that comes into his practice.

It was watching my fathers commitment to his patients that made me want to become a dentist. I graduated from Minersville High School in 1996 and went on to study at the the local Penn State Schuylkill Campus. I earned my doctorate degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2005, and I have been practicing ever since.

Starting in 2016, Dr. Earl Buehner, Jr. will be transitioning into more of a retirement role within the practice. You will still be able to see his smiling face around the office from time to time, but he will mostly work in a supporting role with the current staff and the new faces youll see at the office.

I am honored that I have this opportunity to practice dentistry alongside my father and provide the same quality of care he has over the past several decades. I hope to carry on this legacy, and I also intend to foster community growth, increase dental education, and raise the level of dentistry in Schuykill County.

Dr. Matthew Griffith (Dr. Matt) was born and raised in Minersville, PA. From a young age he was drawn to the sciences and medical professions. It was not until he attended college at the Pennsylvania State University at University Park campus when he more and more drawn to the field of dentistry. He graduated with a bachelors degree in life science in 2012. From there he moved to west to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Ion 2017, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. The next two years he spent working as a general dentist in Las Vegas before moving back to Pennsylvania to pursue a career at Hershey Dental Associates in Hummelstown and Buehner Family Dental in Minersville, PA. in his free time he enjoys attending live music events, traveling, watching reality television, taking online and in-person continuing education courses to keep up with the latest breakthroughs in dentistry , and spending time with friends, family, and his two cats.
