Dr. John Budd received his bachelors degree, graduating with honors in Business Management from Brigham Young University. He attended dental school at the prestigious University of California San Francisco and graduated as valedictorian of his dental class earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He stayed in San Francisco to complete his three year post-graduate training in Orthodontics while also receiving a masters degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. Dr. Budd is passionate about orthodontics. He has had his work published by the International Journal of Endodontics and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society - an honor given to a small number of doctors who are voted into the organization by their colleagues.
Dr. Budd is board-certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Central Arizona Dental Society. He loves the variety found in treating both children and adults, and has special interest in treatment involving temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and Invisalign. Dr. Budd loves to continue learning about developments in the field of orthodontics by attending continuing education meetings and professional study clubs.
Our professional staff has a combined experience of over 75 years providing outstanding orthodontic care to our patients. They take pride in knowing each patient by name and in making each visit to our office relaxing and enjoyable.
Megan grew up in Tucson, AZ and is a Wildcat through and through. She has been in general dentistry for 5 years and has enjoyed helping patients regain their confidence through their smiles. She has recently started working with Budd Orthodontics and has loved learning the ins and outs of orthodontics. Although Megan is newer to the field, she loves the challenge and is excited to help serve all of Dr Budds amazing patients.
Megan has been married to her husband, Michael, for 6 years. They love traveling and have plans to see the whole world one trip at a time. They also love spending time with family, friends, hiking, going to the movies, finding new restaurants and occasionally doing something crazy like running a Ragnar Relay race.
Pam relocated from Chicago to Arizona as a young girl, and currently resides in Cave Creek. She has been married to her husband Jeff for over 40 years. She has two grown children Amber and Rob, yet considers her son-in-law, Mario and her daughter-in-law, Tiffany like her own kids too. She enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren Tatum, Nathan, Gavin, and Lexie.
Pam loves thunder and rain (probably because she doesn't get to see much of it in sunny Arizona!). She has worked in orthodontics for over 25 years. Pams favorite past time is knitting scarves and kitchen dishcloths.
Natalia was born in New York, but raised in Poland. She is the one with the 'exotic' accent in the office. She moved to Arizona when she was 16 years old. By age 19, she 'fell in love with teeth'. Natalia has 9 years of orthodontic experience. She loves to travel, spend time outside, hike, paddle-board, and play tennis. She also has two furry cats that are spoiled rotten.
Justine grew up in Newport Beach, CA and recently moved to Arizona. She has worked in the Orthodontic field for over 15 years. Justine loves building relationships with the patients and making them feel welcome every time they walk in the door. In her spare time, Justine loves spending time with her horse and her dog. She also enjoys a little bit of shopping and watching TV.
Lexi moved to Arizona from Illinois in 2012. She came from a small town where the population is 1,500 and her graduating class had only 60 students. Lexi started her career in general dentistry but soon discovered the fun field of orthodontics where she plans to stay.
Since she arrived in Arizona, she has discovered many fun things to do. Some of her favorites are going to the animal shelter, and watching comedy shows. Lexi is a people person and the first thing she notices about someone is their smile. She is really happy to be working in Dr. Budds office, helping to make smiles great! Jessica has been in the orthodontic field for 8 years.

Getting braces as an adult is not an easy decision to make, but I am so glad I did. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Budd and the entire team - incredibly organized, kind and I couldn't have asked for better end results ultimately with my teeth. I can only hope that Budd Orthodontics is still an option for my 2 year old when she's old enough for braces!

Great service! My daughter forgot her bands while on vacation.. we called a few locations to see if we could buy some the ONLY location that responded with an OK was Budd! They didn't even charge us! Cannot say enough great things about this office.. except that they truly care about a patient even if it is not necessarily one of their own! Not a common thing these days!

Dr. Budd is great! My teeth look amazing! He kindly and patiently answered any questions I had throughout the treatment period. His staff is very welcoming and accommodating every time. They even made sure to remember things about my personal life, like my trips, and asked me how they went. I highly recommend him!!

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Budd and his staff at Budd Orthodontics! I was a 45 year old women looking to correct some shifting teeth and I knew I wanted to take my time in finding an Ortho. I had consultations with 3 Orthos in the central Phoenix area and Dr. Budd gave the most beautiful presentation on my case, process, & expected outcome. I felt "at home" at his practice and couldn't wait to sign on as a patient of his. I am officially out of braces and in the retainer phase so I am getting to the finish line. His staff is wonderful from the front desk to the Ortho assistants and I sincerely just found Dr. Budd to just be an overall nice person. Thank you Dr. Budd for all my future smiles!

I've been going to this office for nearly 20 months and haven't written a review yet because I wanted to see the end result first. Five stars isn't enough. My braces are off now and my teeth look phenomenal. First time in my life (I'm 53) that I'm not ashamed to smile. I'm one of those people you hear about that get irrationally anxious about dental work. Dr. Budd and his staff were true pros. They listened to my concerns and made adjustments to their procedures to accommodate my "special needs". I always received great service, even after the pandemic hit, and ran into absolutely no issues with Dr. Budd or his team. I highly recommend them to anyone who demands high quality and might have anxieties with dental work.

Dr. Budd and Team are AMAZING!!! My daughter received her orthodontic treatment here and I'm proud to say, her SMILE is radiant. Dr. Budd is professional, friendly and upfront. The entire staff and Dr Budd are amazing. Both of our sons has their orthodontic work done there. Always helpful, always flexible in scheduling and always willing to explain and listen. Lol! If you have to spend 6 years visiting a doctor once a month, this is the practice to do it with!

Everything about Budd Orthodontics is awesome! I have both my kids getting braces and it couldn't be going better. The doctor and his entire staff are caring and courteous and are wonderful with my kids. I would recommend them to anyone!
