In 2011, Blanca joined the BDP family after spending 15 years at home raising her children. Blanca is one of our dental assistants, and very much enjoys getting to knowour patients while caring for their dental needs. She lives in Kyle with her husband, TJ, and has two daughters, Lexi and Abby. Blanca and TJ love cooking, spending time outdoors hiking, and playing with their two Australian Shepherds, Franklin and Topper.
Gayle joined our team in 2016 and brings over 30 years of dental experience to BDP.She serves our patients as Health Relationship Coordinator, helping them createa pathway to achieve their dental health goals. Gayle brings compassion to every interaction she has, and her zest for life is contagious!She and her husband Davidrecently moved to Wimberley from the Houston area, and are currently working on building their dream home. They have two grown children and are enjoying getting to know Central Texas!
Jaime is a Texas native, raised in a small town outside of San Angelo; she is blessed with a very close-knit family and continues to spend quality time with them every chance she gets. Jamie graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 2000, and joined Buda Dental Professionals in 2007. Her patients would tell you that she puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and they feel genuinely cared for. Jamie and her husband, Andrew, enjoy life as a family of four with their children, Stella and Leo.
Jannette has been with our office since 2003, and has found the dental profession to be very rewarding and enjoyable. She works with our littlest patients the children! With a family of her own, she recognizes how important a courteous and helpful staff can be when looking for a quality dental experience. She truly has a mothers touch with the kids and they relax very easily while under her care. Away from the office, Jannette is a mother of four and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jeff joined the Buda Dental team in 2020 and has been assisting since 2011. He spent 3 years teaching high school science and decided to follow his passion and join the dental field. Jeff grew up watching his father practice dentistry in the Fort Worth area and has always been fascinated by the precision and technical aspects. Jeffs hobbies include exercising, watching Texas Longhorn sports, and cooking new dishes to enjoy with his wife and new baby boy.
Born in Florida, Kimberly moved to the great state of Texas in 2006. As part of our front office team, she is one of the first smiling faces to welcome patients as they walk through the door. She and her husband, Tre, have two boys, TJ and Derek, and new baby girl Emilia Rein. She loves spendingquality time with theirfamily and close friends, and also enjoys her hobby of photography as well. Kimberly is excited about the future, and looks forward to traveling that journey with her Buda Dental family.
After 10 years in Amarillo, Kristin moved to Central Texas in 2013, and joined BDP as one of our dental hygienists. Every day, her patients can feel her joy and sincerity in the way that she cares for them its contagious! She loves the opportunity to educate patients on the mouth-body connection and the importance of maintaining optimum dental health. Kristin is married to Billy, and they have three children, Isabella, Liam and Olivia. Their family loves exploring the Austin area and enjoys live music, local eateries, and fun kid crafts.
Marla has been part of the Buda Dental tribe since 2002, and brings over 25 years experience to the team as a dental hygienist. She truly enjoys the opportunity to serve each one of her patients, and values the relationships she has formed with them over the years. In her time outside the office, Marla enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with her family, which includes her four grandchildren, Fenix, Maddie Rae, Max, and Milo.
After spending 13 years as a Dental Assistant, Monica pursued dental hygiene school and graduated in 2017. She joined the Buda Dental Professionals family in 2019 and is passionate about a clean and healthy smile. Monica values spending time with her patients to help them understand their own personal dental hygiene profile. She loves to seek out every nook and cranny where plaque and tartar may hide, and cleans teeth with a gentle dexterity. When shes not in scrubs, Monica enjoys planning vacations and spending time with her husband Michael, and their two kids Teagan and Remington.
Sam was raised in Buda and attended Hays High School. She has been in the dental field since 2011 and with BDP since 2017. Sam is our Insurance Coordinator and enjoys helping our patients navigate their insurance benefits. When she is not in the office, she enjoys watching her husband, Justin participate in team ropings. On weekends she enjoys watching her son, Kooper, play baseball unless she is at her happy place: the beach.
Over the 20 years spent with Buda Dental Professionals, Silina has had the privilege of getting to know our patients through her role as an administrative team member. She enjoys helping patients transform their smiles and lives, and values the friendships she makes along the way. Silina has two sons, Javen and Jude, and they enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and familyespecially when it involves traveling to new places.
Moved to Texas in 1999 after traveling the world as a child. Stephanie joined BDP in 2021 and has 10 plus years of dental experience. As part of our front team, she is one of the first smiling faces to welcome patients as they walk through the door. She and her husband have 2 kids, Christian and Samira. She loves spending time with her family and you can normally find her out on the football fields on weekends. Her loves are family, exercise, food and now travel. She is excited for the future here at BDP and growing with the practice.

Staff is very friendly, professional, and accommodating to patient schedules. Dr. Carlyon took the time to sit down and discuss treatment plan and options. Highly recommend Buda Dental Professionals.

Have always been afraid of any dental work. Buda dental has made a great difference in how I feel now. The best part was how all the people make you feel at home and part of a family experience. Starting with making you important and finding out who you are as a person not a patient. Assuring that you will be treated with their knowledge of what will make you more comfortable and trusting in what true dental procedures can be. I will be a patient as long as I need any dental work done.

First time to ever get a crown. Was completely pain free. I had heard procedure could b painful but Dr. Strickland and team were amazing. Everyone from office staff to assistants to doctors are sincere in wanting the best for their patients.

Absolutely amazing service and staff, made sure I was okay the entire visit and explained everything whilst they were doing it. Able to laugh and talk with the staff which made me feel very welcomed. A very warm and respectful staff ready to help and answer all your questions. The office was very neat and well put together. Amazing place would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, excellent dental work, and commitment of those who work at Buda Dental. Dr. Strickland filled 3 teeth, 2 upper on opposite sides and 1 lower. Two were extremely close the the gum line. I expected some discomfort but inexperienced NOT ONE BIT of discomfort after the work. I was so impressed with her work. I cannot say anything but Bravo!!! If you need great dental work, Drs. Strickland and Carlyon are the best.

I usually get bad anxiety when it comes to doctors/dentists but this was not the case with Dr. Carlyon. He was very nice and not a single part of the procedure hurt one bit. I was in a rough situation when i came in but he was able to fix me up in less than an hour and he did the best job. I promise you will be in great hands :)

Excellent dental office! We followed Dr. Strickland to Buda Dental Professionals many years ago and even drive from New Braunfels to see her. She is an amazing dentist, always professional, kind and caring, and is great with children. The staff is equally amazing, has been there for years and the whole office has a "we are family" feel. We love Buda Dental!

Hands down the best dental office I've ever encountered, by a country mile. Few people enjoy having dental work performed but these folks make it as painless and as pleasant as possible. The equipment is all state of the art and the professionals are both expert and incredibly friendly. If you are looking for a dentist for yourself and/or your family, look no further.

I have never had a better dental experience than the one I had with Buda Dental! I had cosmetic work done by Dr.Strickland and Blanca, after having braces for 2 years, they added the finishing touches to create my dream smile. They walked me through every step of the process and took their time to give me the best results! I am so grateful for their time and care!

This place is awesome for kids AND adults! My 6 & 4 year old have been patients since they were both 2 and they LOVE going to the dentist! Hygienist Jeanette is so patient and gentle and does a phenomenal job!!! She makes it fun and gives the kids options for everything to make them feel empowered. She explains what she's doing in a child friendly way and is so very patient!!! Dr. Strickland is the same way and is very thorough. Also, my husband usually hates going to the dentist but I can't say enough about how he LOVES this practice as well. They put him at ease and are very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this dental practice for the whole family!
