Would not clean teeth unless I purchased additional services first. I was told this was a company policy.

A few days ago I had a severe abscess that required drilling thru a bridge to remove the nerve and then the infection. I was in excruciating pain had not slept much for 2 nights. Dr.Darrah and His Staff scheduled Me in due to the severity of the situation and did an x-ray. He explained the situation and due to the drilling thru the bridge referred me to Dr Putnam who Specializes in root canals.I have been seeing Dr. Darrah since moving here from Summerville in 2015 and I am extremely happy with Him and his Staff.His Dental Hygienist are A+. His Receptionist worked very hard to schedule Me in and that means a lot at the end of the week when You are in extreme pain. The difference between a good Dentist and a Great Dentist is, the Great Dentist does whatever it takes to get You feeling better! Also His office is very clean. Dr. Darrah, Thank You! If You have a Great Dentist keep them. If You are looking for a Great one, Dr. Darrah is Great choice!

I am SO Grateful that I found Dr. Darrah! After having a Tonic Clonic Seizure in a Parking Lot one Night, shattering my Alveolar Process of Maxilla, my 2 Front Teeth completely left their original Place. This had me seeing an Oral Surgeon and getting and Arch Bar put on my Teeth for a Month. After the Arch Bar was taken off, I was told to follow up with a Dentist. My Side Effects basically were a lot of Sensitivity and my Teeth not Feeling like they were in my head. I was only able to eat/drink warm Beverages/Food. Not being able to Smile, Laugh, or Cry without that Bone being in so much pain. I went Dentist Shopping as I haven't had a Dentist since 2017 and they now were shut down. The first one was extremely impatient and told me that I needed a Root Canal. I was very against this fact. I then decided to go local and found Buckwalter Dental Care. I sent over all of my Records. I told them about my last experience and what happened. He walked in the Room and told me, "You're going to need a Root Canal." I began crying and asked why. He showed me the X-Rays they had on File. The new X-Rays. How I described my pain. Exactly what a Root Canal was. Why they needed to do it. That the Nerve was completely dead. It was all very Informative the way he broke it down and showed me each Tooth. I was able to ask as many Questions as I wanted/needed. After all of my Anxiety and how scared I was, I just got my Root Canal Yesterday. Didn't hurt one bit! After getting it done, my Teeth feel like mine again. When I got Home, I realized that I was able to have my big Smile, Laugh, and Cry without having as much pain as I did!!!! I'm BEYOND Grateful that I found Buckwalter Dental Care. And shout out to Melanie and of course, Dr. Darrah for doing my Procedure!!!!

The dentist office is very clean very friendly and I had a great experience there and I felt like they actually knew what they were talking about.

Dr. Darrah and staff are amazing! They are very caring and take the time to discuss any and all issues one may have to create the best dental plan for that patient. We love him and the staff!

I am new to Blufton SC the area and was in need of advanced care for a broken bridge that was causing major discomfort. The staff was quick for first appointment and I was informed that follow up was not available until January 2022 today is 8-27)! Not what I was looking to hear and was given attitude "it is what it is"! At conclusion I have a half baked resolution and very unhappy with service. Also I have made attempts to contact Dentist and not at top of his priority list!

I have always had high anxiety when it came to the dentist. It took me several years after moving here to find one that I liked. Everyone helped me feel relaxed and welcome. Definitely recommend Dr. Darrah to all my friends.

I've been so happy with this dental practice. The staff are friendly and professional. I trust Dr. Darrah and he does wonderful fillings when needed. The hygienists give good education tips and cleanings in a timely manner. I recommend them to anyone looking for quality dental care!

I have been seeing Dr. Darrah since they opened and could not be happier. They are fantastic with scheduling and if there is an emergency, they work to get you seen quickly. My hygienist is gentle but effective and makes my smile look great! Dr. Darrah takes his time with you and goes over everything in great detail, so there's never any confusion about treatment. I would highly recommend the team there!

Excellent service all around! All staff are kind and knowledgeable. They do a great job of making personal connections. They also give advice/tips on what to use and not use with your teeth. They want to help you meet your goals.

If you are looking for a great dentist, Dr. Darrah is that person! I had a discolored front tooth, and it got darker over time. My dentist in PA tried to fix it, but it is very hard to get the color, to match the other front tooth, just right and he couldn't do it. It was still a different shade. When we moved to Bluffton, I found Dr. Darrah. He fixed it perfectly and got the color just right! He restored my smile and I couldn't be happier!! Thank you Dr. Darrah for a great job! These guys are great, warm, friendly, and they do a wonderful job. I've been a patient for 2 years and I just recommended them to my Sister and Brother who moved to the area.
