Dr. Bahar Nia, Founder and Clinical Director of Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentistry, is not new to the field. In fact, as a second-generation cosmetic dentist, she grew up watching her fathers work at his own dental practice. After graduating from her prestigious Ivy League education at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, she decided to further her education by attending a postdoctoral residency in Houston. This gave Dr. Nia the opportunity to collaborate with the MD Anderson Cancer Center where she became more well-rounded in the diagnosis of oral, head and neck oncology. Her philosophy of patient care is a wholesome approach in both diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Nia provides esthetically beautiful smile makeovers with a sense of perfectionism and great attention to detail.
Throughout her career, Dr. Nia has been recognized in honor societies and awarded for her clinical and non-clinical excellence in leadership and dentistry. She has received prestigious recognition as Atlantas Top Doctor and Top Dentist for several consecutive years. Dr. Nia has been featured by media channels such as NBC 11 Alive and Atlanta & Company for her expertise on cosmetic dentistry and dental technologies. Dr. Nia sits on the board of directors for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Georgia Chapter. She is passionate about lifelong education and continuous personal growth. Dr. Nia also believes in the core meaning of giving back. She contributes to many local community programs and charitable foundations including Susan G. Komen of Greater Atlanta, Atlanta Aids Fund through Jeffery Fashion Cares, National Black Art, Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential, Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocate, Eric Beverly Family Foundation and Simple Needs Georgia. Admittedly, it's been way too long since my last visit. I can blame the pandemic but really - it's because I have this inherent fear of the dentist and - probably a tinge of laziness. BUT - all of my fears were put aside the minute I walked in the door at Buckhead Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. The staff greets you so warmly and with a smile. Velvet, my hygienist today, was a joy to be around and tender in her touch. Dr. Nia just radiates sunshine when you're in her presence. Together, her and Velvet gave me a full understanding of what I need to work on and why, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Lastly, Amanda, a Treatment Coordinator, served me with the utmost professionalism and care. She thoroughly explained my treatment plan and the cost involved, making sure I felt comfortable with all of the details before moving forward. All in all, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to go back for my further treatment. I promise if you're looking for a place to go for your oral health, this is the place for you.

My daughter and I decided to visit Buckhead Cosmetic and Family Dentistry as a referral by my daughter's friend. We are so elated that we did! The office is impeccable! Very modern and high tech. From the moment you enter the staff is absolutely wonderful! Very warm, friendly, and welcoming. They certainly make you feel special! The wait time from entering to being seen is very minimal. I don't know that I've been to an office where your time is so valued. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the entire staff is great! My favorite dental office in Atlanta. Attention to detail is evident throughout the entire clinic, from hygiene to the state-of-the-art technology. I have had multiple cleanings, fillings, and now orthodontic treatment here with Dr. Bahar. I wish Dr. Bahar had more time with patients, but it's clear she tries her best to make her rounds to everyone and is always a wealth of knowledge and kindness. Would recommend to all! I can't wait to see my perfect smile at the end of my Invisalign treatment.

Wonderful dental staff! I have been a long time patient at Buckhead Dentistry and wouldn't go anywhere else. The office is clean and organized. The front desk staff is welcoming and professional and makes you feel comfortable. I recently worked with Buckhead Dentistry on crown revision from previous dental work and the process has been smooth and extremely thorough.
