At Buchwald Orthodontics, we believe that the highest level of education and training is of utmost importance in providing the best possible care to our patients. Even after completing an additional 3 years of education and training during his orthodontic residency, Dr. Buchwald took additional steps to ensure he is delivering the highest standard of care. He passed both a written and clinical examination where he presented numerous treatment cases of his patients for expert evaluation. Passing these extra examinations allowed Dr. Buchwald to become a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 35% of orthodontists.
Buchwald Orthodontics uses only the highest quality and most up-to-date orthodontic materials including Invisalign clear aligners as well as self-ligating clear and metal braces. With these advanced technologies comes greater treatment efficiency resulting in quicker/easier adjustment visits and less time in treatment overall. In addition, the technology we use results in improved esthetics and comfort during treatment. We use the latest imaging techniques on our patients including digital panoramic/cephalometric x-rays and iTero scanning. Our iTero scanner is used for 3-D digital impressions for Invisalign aligners, expanders, and other appliances, eliminating the need for messy traditional alginate impressions.
Dr. Bradley Buchwald realized his dream of becoming an orthodontist as a teenager, after experiencing the incredible transformation orthodontic treatment made for himself and others around him. Dr. Buchwalds educational journey began at the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. For his dental education, Dr. Buchwald attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Throughout dental school, Dr. Buchwald received numerous awards for his achievement including the Dean's Award for graduating as the valedictorian of his dental class. Upon graduation, Dr. Buchwald was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society based on scholarship, character, and ethics demonstrated throughout dental school. Dr. Buchwald completed a three year orthodontic residency at the prestigious Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, earning both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.
In order to ensure that he provides the highest level of care to his patients, Dr. Buchwald has taken an additional step by becoming a board-certified orthodontist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Buchwald routinely attends continuing education courses so he can stay up to date on the latest clinical developments and technological advances in the field.
Lisa has been in the orthodontic field for more than two decades now! Throughout the years, her favorite part of her job has continued to be seeing an increase in her patients confidence following their orthodontic treatment. Lisa is a Texas native. She has one daughter, Ashtyn, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and is now a first-grade teacher. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, listening to music, going out to dinner, and spending time with family.
Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota, Cameron attended Bismarck State College before moving to Texas. Since joining our team, she has thoroughly enjoyed watching our patients as they grow and seeing their confidence improve as their perfect smile is created! Cameron enjoys spending her free time shopping, hanging out with her family and Husky, and being outdoors.
Kylee is a north Texas local and grew up in the neighboring city of Anna. She enjoys orthodontics because she gets to work with patients of all ages while creating their perfect smiles. Kylee loves the positive atmosphere of our office its one of the reasons she looks forward to coming into work each day! Outside of dentistry, Kylees interests include painting and watching movies with her friends and family. She also enjoys dressing up her two cats!
