Dr. Max Buchwald Jr. earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Max Buchwald Jr. enjoys volunteering at local homeless shelters, the Christian Dental Clinic, the refugee health clinic, and mission work across the world, as well as staying active in triathlons.
Dr. Mike is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and at the age of twelve moved to Amarillo, Texas. After finishing school at Amarillo Jr. College, he graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. From 1968 to 1970 he served as a Captain in the United States Army. Following service teaching at Baylor Dental College was on the list, as well as starting a private practice in Richardson. He has been married to his beautiful and wonderful wife, E.J., for 41 years. They have three children, Tammy, Michael, and Jennifer. Tammy is married to Dr. Jeff Hischke and together they have two sons, Ren and Trenton. Jennifer is married to Brett Holbrook.
Dr. Mike's philosophy is to care about each patient and treat them like a friend, to always study and learn, use the best technologies and to give personal attention to their care. Communication, expertise, and strong results have earned Dr. Rodgers the trust and admiration of patients and peers alike.

Born and raised in Plano, I now live in Richardson with my husband and our two dogs, Mattie and Birdie, and kitty, Benny. We enjoy exploring our city and taking road trips, and I also have a fascination with all true crime! Like Dr. Buchwald, I grew up in a dental family and have more than eight years of personal experience. I am excited to be a part of the team here and to help make your visit with us as enjoyable as possible!
I started my pursuit of the dental field as a dental assistant. I have always had a certain curiosity and obsessiveness about the dental field since grade school. I later began the quest of studying to become a hygienist. I consider being proficient in any skill is the key to achievement. I am also sure that my obsessive and compulsive behavior with cleaning lead me to my work in the dental field. My goal is to provide paramount and quality care for my patients. I believe that meeting diverse individuals is an added advantage to my work. I am a free spirit but fortunately I am married to whom I call my friend! I like yoga, hiking, traveling, and motorcycle riding. The tranquility, autonomy and blissful nature of the great outdoors gives me such delight. I am originally from Hobbs, New Mexico but moved to Dallas after graduating high school in 2001. I have been a dental assistant for 20 years. I have two children, a 17-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son. I enjoy nature and all sports.
I am currently an undergrad at TWU and wish to pursue a career in dentistry. I have two furry babies, Choco and Yami. I love hiking and playing sports in addition to spending time with my family and friends in my free time. I have been a dental assistant for the past six years and enjoy every moment of it!
I live in Royce City with my two blessings, Brantley and Pyper. In our spare time you will usually find us at a racetrack or a baseball field. I have been a dental assistant for 18 years and can't wait to meet you and your family.
I have a son who is 19 and a cute dog that is my best friend at home. I enjoy theater, being on stage brings me joy, hiking, movies, gym time and spending my weekends with family or on a last minute weekend road trip.

Im afraid I'm scared & anxious around dentists or anything to do with messing with my teeth, been that way most of my life. Everyone in this office always has gone out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. Dr. Buckwald has excellent knowledge and skill as a dentist and has impeccable bedside manners.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have dental anxiety, I have general anxiety, and I am probably more melodramatic than is healthy. This group of earth-angels are so kind, so patient, and SO funny. I love Dr. Buchwald Jr. and Cris especially, they're a comic duo that just won't quit! I always need headphones for dental work, but I never do at this facility- the music is bumpin' and the jokes just keep comin! Really, this is the place to go. Thank you all for being the best dental office in the universe!

I returned to Dr. Max, no other Dentist has his personality, he truly cares about his patients. I had a root canal today with Dr. Mike it was wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit!

Been going to Dr. Buchwald Sr for years. He's a good Christian man and the beat dentist I've ever gone to. Before he retired his son treated me several times. Young Dr. Buchwald is just like him in his looks, faith, mannerisms and expertise in dentistry. I trust him completely with my dental care Dr. Mike is great too. He's done two crowns for me thus far. He takes time to ensure the comfort of his patients. Never felt a thing during the procedures. All the staff are great. Friendly, professional and caring. Can't say enough about the wonderful way patients are cared for.

Amazing work! I haven't smiled much in years due to my teeth, this amazing dentist fixed my entire smile and his work is absolutely perfect. I can't recommend this man and his great staff. Just try and catch me not smiling now. Thank you for what you have given me back 2nd part today 2 months later my teeth are are now all finished. I can't thank you enough for the absolutely perfect work. Amazing staff that work with this remarkable dentist what a great group to have in Dallas and your 10 in my book.
