Dr. Alyson Buchalter is a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Her formal dental education continued at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. Upon completing her residency program she joined her fathers dental practice in Gravesend, Brooklyn where she has enjoyed practicing for over 25 years.
Dr. Buchalter is highly regardedby her peers and patients alikefor her extensive knowledge, advanced technical skills and her very gentle touch. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the 2019 President of the Second District Dental Society. She lead the Downtown Dental Study Group as their president and education chair for 10 years. And, for over 20 years she was an attending dentist (teacher) at Long Island College Hospital and at the Cobble Hill Health Center where she enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of young dentists.
With a wide range of special interests and expertise, Dr. Buchalter provides full-mouth dental care to her patients. Throughout her career Dr. Buchalter has continued her training via many continuing dental education classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and up to date dental care. She has completed numerous advanced study programs in fields such as dental implants, dental aesthetics, Invisalign and ClearCorrect orthodontics, conscious sedation/nitrous oxide, endodontics, smile design, crowns, bridges and periodontal therapy. Dr. Buchalter has lectured on a variety of topics for various local dental societies and national dental conventions.
