Bubble Childrens Dentistry and Orthodontics was created and themed to make going to the dentist fun and easy for kids and their parents, we refer to our office as Destination Dentistry. Not all childrens dentists are specialists. Our pediatric dentists and orthodontist have spent an additional 2-3 years to become specialists in their fields. These additional years are spent training the specialists in the unique needs and care of children. In addition, our pedodontist is board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

We designed our brand new office with you and your childs comfort and imagination in mind. Our Destination Dentistry themed office is full of marine life from the waters of New England. You and your child will be awestruck when you enter office and walk thru the underwater tunnel with a variety of marine life swimming above you. Once you enter the reception area, Balee, our Humpback Whale suspended from the ceiling will great you as well as our harbor seals Frank and George, who are eager to have a selfie taken with you. Our theme continues in the treatment area with more than 100 fish, dolphins, tuna, stingrays and turtles swimming above you offering your child the feeling of being at the aquarium. We also live coral reef tanks and Moon Jellyfish tanks to offer a sense of calm and relaxation while at Bubble.

Dr. Deepti Karhade is a Pediatric Dentist at Bubble Childrens Dentistry and Orthodontics. She received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

During residency, Dr. Karhade developed an algorithm for Early Childhood Caries (ECC), which has since been featured by Google as a cloud computing case study. Additionally, her work has been recognized by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry on several occasions. As a first-year resident, Dr. Karhade was the recipient of the Ralph E McDonald award, presented to the most outstanding research by a resident or recent graduate of Pediatric Dentistry. Most recently, Dr. Karhade was invited to share her work at the Google Cloud Government and Education Summit and was featured in the YIAPD We are the Future session by the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry.

During her training, Dr. Karhade served as the chief resident in pediatric dentistry at UNC and was the recipient of scholarships from the American Dental Education Association, GlaxoSmithKline, Tylenol, and the Dental Trade Alliance (DTA) foundation. In addition, she serves as the director of strategy for 2 Minute Medicine, a physician led medical media company.

Since her childhood, Dr. Karhade has been a classically trained vocalist with multiple invited performances internationally. In their free time, Dr. Karhade and her husband Dr. Aditya Karhade love spending time outdoors with their golden retriever, Simba.

Dr. Karhade is incredibly passionate about providing her patients with the highest level of care and strives to make your childs experience at Bubble unique and every visit a fun, positive and educational experience for the entire family!

Dr. Sim received his D.M.D. Degree from Boston University. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Sim worked in private practice for four years. During four years of private practice, Dr. Sim worked extensively with children and adolescents and decided to specialize in Pediatric dentistry.

He completed his Advanced education in Pediatric dentistry at Boston University. During his 2-year training, Dr. Sim received specialized training in dentistry for children, adolescents, special needs, sedation, and hospital dentistry at Franciscan Childrens Hospital and Boston Medical center.

Dr. Sim has a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter who keep him really busy but in his free time, he enjoys watching movies, traveling and trying new food and restaurants. He is also fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and has made Massachusetts his home since 2013.

Dr. Joshua Hurlburt (Dr. Josh) grew up in a small town in Michigan and is a double Wolverine having graduated with both his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Modern European Studies and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the top-rated University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Go Blue! Dr. Josh finished up his pediatric dentistry residency at the prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2022, where he received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Josh is passionate about the development and oral health of children and is committed to having each and every child have a positive interaction while visiting the dentist. Dr. Josh has a warm, enthusiastic and caring personality that allows him to provide a fun, comfortable, and educational experience for children and parents alike.

In his free time, Dr. Josh loves exploring New England, working out, and streaming his favorite tv shows and movies. You might even see Dr. Josh jogging around Boston, as it is one of his favorite ways of seeing the city.

Dr. Fraser grew up in Andover, Massachusetts and attended Phillips Academy. He double-majored in mechanical and biomedical engineering at Tufts University and went on to earn a masters degree in biomedical engineering. He later was the recipient of a research fellowship in immunology and microfluidics from Harvard University.

Dr. Fraser received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he completed honors programs in research, oral radiology, and community oral health. At graduation, he was inducted in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society by his faculty and was presented with awards from the American Association of Orthodontists as well as Penn Dental Radiology.

Dr. Fraser completed his residency in orthodontics at UCLA where he was elected chief resident. There he published a number of research articles which resulted in his being selected for the Charles R. Morris Research Award. One of his publications was also chosen as required reading for the American Board of Orthodontics Board Exam, a first-time honor for a dental resident.

Dr. Fraser is a committed advocate for continuing education among orthodontists. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He has been selected by his peers to be an American Association of Orthodontists Professional Advocacy delegate during which time he has addressed members of Congress and the Senate about issues facing orthodontics. Most recently, he was elected to begin a three-year term to the Penn Dental Medicines Alumni Society Executive Board.

Dr. Fraser has also won the 2022 Mass Dental Society 10 under 10 Award. This award is given to recipients who have made significant contributions to the profession and their community. Dr. Fraser has contributed greatly to the Autism community through his lectures, webinars and outreach. He believes all children should be given the opportunity to have healthy, straight and functional smiles.
