Dr Wheeler was professional and had an exceptional, kind , comforting manner. He educated me extensively regarding the extraction procedure. When it had been completed, i left knowing he/staff would be available if i needed them. There were no complications. I would highly recommend him for oral surgery. He was great!

Surgery was explained very well so i knew what to expect. Dr wheeler was very knowledgeable and professional in my treatment. Extraction was completed in less than 10 minutes. I have had little to no post-surgical affects; however, Dr Wheeler addressed the possibility that i could experience some minor discomfort. Directions were made clear in that case. I would make an appointment w/him if other problems were to present. It was a good experience.

Dr. Wheeler made me feel relaxed on the day of my extractions. Customer Service is so important to me and he is a genuine Dr. who cares and listens to his patients concerns.

Very good experience in getting an appointment. Doctor, staff very courteous. professional and helpful. Quality of the doctor's consultation was very good and clear, allowing me to make a sound decision on treatment plan. However, wait time to see doctor was over an hour later than the appointment time. While I understand that some appointments in doctors offices can run behind for various reasons, however, feel that one hour from appointment time is excessive.

My girlfriend just had a wisdom tooth pulled and apparently Dr. Wheeler had the audacity to ask her why she was missing so many teeth. Dental work isn't cheap. Very unprofessional and safe to say she will not be coming back

Dr Wheeler is AWESOME! He clearly explained my procedure, options, and possible complications. He made me feel that he cared about me and wanted to be sure that I would be happy with what I chose to do. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!! In addition, his staff is extraordinary! Everyone there is ready to help and answer any questions and they make you feel that you matter!

Dr. Wheeler and his staff did and excellent service with my sister who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia. She had three teeth removed and scheduled for her wisdom teeth removed next month. The staff has a pleasure attitude and greet the patients with kindness and made my sister feel safe and comfortable during her procedure. I highly recommend Dr. wheeler and staff for their excellent service .

Surgery was successful. My child remained comfortable following procedure, did not experience nausea and vomiting following anesthesia and had well controlled pain for recovery. Billing was appropriately managed by the office between both insurance coverages. I am pleased with our general dentist for making the recommendation.

Recently my daughter was referred to Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery. Didn't know which Dr my daughter was going to see. We were very fortunate to get Dr Wheeler my daughter felt very comfortable with him. All the staff was very professional and kind. Absolutely love Michelle Pope and Dr Wheeler was very attentive and efficient and goes above and beyond for the care of his patients. My 13yo daughter was meeting her oral surgeon for the first time for what we thought were just 3 baby teeth extraction but I decided she should have 4 wisdom teeth & 3 baby teeth extracted for seeing issues later. Within minutes of his examination, Dr Wheeler brought to my attention she was tongue tied and also surgically repaired this as well. Unbelievable that and all her previous providers pediatricians, pcps, nurse practitioners, several dentists and mostly including myself we all missed this for 13 years. Was causing her eating issues and speech impediments that we never could figure out why. Dr Wheeler was very efficient, extremely thorough & kind. He called to check on my daughter Ava in the late evening of her surgery on his personal time and welcomed any calls or concerns to his cell phone in regards to her care. Dr Wheeler reminds me of a few the greatest Drs I have been privileged to work with at our own cardiovascular practice. Dr Wheeler is very passionate about the care of his patients! Thank you for all you do and your staff is wonderful. What a great team & thank you!! She will be back to herself in no time
