Dr. Haynes is a very nice guy and I have always been treated with respect by him and his staff. I do agree with the other reviewers that he never tries to upsell or force you into services you are not interested in. I will say - after multiple requests to color correct my veneers, I felt that I was ultimately denied, because Dr. Haynes did not feel like it was necessary. I found it strange that he made this aesthetic choice for me. The facilities are underwhelming and the space really feels like you are entering a flash back in time given the old equipment and decor. This makes absolutely no difference in the level of service I was given. Ultimately, I think he does good work and knows what he is doing. Lastly, I have to mention the awful pairing of toothpaste + mouthwash flavoring. I can't remember the last time I had my teeth cleaned with Cherry toothpaste and was then told to rinse using mint mouthwash. It was disgusting. That flavor combination is an acquired taste for anyone... so why not stick with mint? Bottom Line: Dr. Haynes does good work and will treat you well, but I'm ready to search around for alternative dentists for an overall better patient experience.

Dr. Haynes is top notch dentist. He's knowledgeable, humorous, and will not try to upsell you. I love the rest of the staff too. Seriously, you couldn't do better.

Best experience I've ever had. Such a steady hand while picking at my teeth that it didn't hurt at all. I ALWAYS get tense because inevitably the pick will slip and hurt a gum or something and yet Dr. Haynes is so calm which made me feel relaxed, but did a careful, thorough job. Truly masterful work. I've been to many dentists but for the first time I walked out without any pain and clean teeth!

UPDATE: I had a great experience with Dr. Zeuss. I had an infected molar that was quite painful. On the same day I called she made time to quickly see me in between appointments. After seeing how bad it was, she had her office staff immediately call a nearby oral surgeon office to setup the extraction two hours later. You will be in good hands. Old: I've been going for about two years for regular cleanings. The staff are friendly and are good about setting up the next appointment. Dr. Zuess is kind and professional dentist. Keep up the good work!

I love this dentist office! Super down to earth, no frills but good cleanings and honest assessments. My first visit was with Dr Haynes, subsequent have been with partners; they seem to be very collaborative, with a couple partners specializing in specific concerns. Good at taking time to investigate what your insurance will cover when as well.

Convenient location in Emeryville with gravel parking. For the past few years, I've been coming here every six months for teeth cleaning. Friendly staff and easy to schedule. Your next appointment is scheduled six months out at the end of your visit. Office staff are great about confirming appointments. The toothbrush travel kit makes me smile at the end of every visit. The ones that I don't use go in the Halloween candy bucket (you may be surprised at how excited kids get over toothbrushes on Halloween)! Going to the dentist in covid times is a little bit different, but this office is doing a great job adapting. Patients are temperature checked and fill out a form to confirm not showing symptoms. Entryways to rooms are blocked with plastic. Staff are wearing additional PPE, everyone is wearing masks when possible. Only downside is that some elective treatments are not advised (we didn't do the fluoride treatment this time). Pros: convenient location with parking, great staff, scheduling appointments is easy and straightforward, precautions taken in light of covid-19 Cons: no Invisalign expert at this practice but you can get a referral for another practice

The worse experience ever within Bryan D Haynes Inc !!!! You won't want to be treated like this as a patient. They created a crown that is supposed to be my size, then the result of the crown is much lower than my other teeth. I CAN NOT EVEN touch it with my upper teeth, now the crown teeth is pretty much useless. They told me that is normal and the size is perfect. This is very interesting because I don't have this problem before I change it to the crown.

I needed an emergency procedure done and this office made a painful experience extremely painless. From the moment i called i knew i was in good hands, Marla answered the phone and calmly walked me through what was needed and told me to come right in, no questions asked. She worked with my insurance company with patience while Dr. Christina quickly attended to my needs with a smile on her face and gentle touch. Both are phenomenal people and I am SO thankful that I finally found an office of people who genuinely want to help their patients. THANK YOU MARLA AND CHRISTINA FOR THE PHENOMENAL CARE!

I have had nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Haynes and his staff. I lost my dental benefits from a previous job, but when I found another job, they welcomed me with open arms. Even though I owed him money from my deductible for over a year, he still took great care of me when I needed them. Run, don't walk to this office for great service and QUALITY CARE!!!

Dr Haynes is the best dentist ever. He is SO HONEST AND FRANK, and NEVER EVER wants you to spend extra money in any treatment or any thing that isn't really required. He does a thorough job of examination to make sure you leave his place with complete confidence. TRULY THE BEST DENTIST
