Dr. Kennedy completed his undergraduate degree at Amherst College before attended the University of Michigan for dental school. He completed a general practice residency program upon graduation in Montclair, New Jerseys Mountainside Hospital, after which he spent the next 6 years working in private practice.
Prior to becoming a dentist, he worked in stem cell research at Boston Childrens Hospital and Lurie Childrens Hospital, dealing with murine models of muscular dystrophy. He has a passion for researching the latest proven dental techniques, which he brings to his and patients and practice. He has attended AIM Bone Grafting & Implant training, and courses in Gerety Comprehensive Orthodontics.
Dr. Kennedy grew up in Illinois, purchasing the practice from his father-in-law, Gary Potempa. Prior to moving back, he had a private practice in New York. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Academy for Sports Dentistry and Illinois Dental Society.
His goal is to be a dentist dedicated to providing the best care for his patients. Through education and communication, he works tirelessly to help achieve their dental goals. He intends to have his patients see dental visits in a new way.
Dr. Kennedy is married to celebrity hairstylist and Beachwaver inventor, Sarah Potempa. Together they have two children; Grayson and Lauder, and a malamute name Ash. He enjoys swimming, running and playing soccer. When he gets off time, he enjoys his family and taking Ash to the dog park.

I've been a patient of Dr Cloe for twenty-seven years. As a child I had a horrible dentist that made me VERY dentist shy. Dr Cloe has been so amazing in his care and sensitivity to my fear issues...or should I say former fear issues? I trust him so much that I've let him drill my teeth three times with no novacain...seriously. I'm just glad that he's younger than me so that he never retires before I do!

Easy to work with. Explains everything well and makes you feel comfortable. Welcoming and friendly staff to boot. Dr Cloe is an awesome choice for someone looking for a new dentist.

Because I have lived in different states over the years, I have had many many dentists. Dr. Cloe, and my hygienist Dianne are easily the best I have ever experienced! My experiences are always pain free and they are super at always explaining what is occurring. I highly recommend them!

As a new patient, my wife Eileen presented Dr. Cloe with a very difficult implant case. He put a great deal of time and effort into rectifying another doctor's mistake. She is thrilled with the end result and her smile has been restored! I and my two sons are now patients as well. I am confident my family will be well cared for by Dr.Cloe and his wonderful staff.
