Brush Dental - General dentist in Brush, CO

Here at Brush Dental, we believe that a smile tells a thousand words, and we are dedicated to giving our patients high-quality dental care. We offer a full range of dental services, so all of your family's needs are met under one roof.

Our goal is for you to leave our office with a memorable and enjoyable dental experience, which is why our welcoming and compassionate staff will do everything they can to make you feel right at home.

I have been practicing dentistry in Colorado for 33 years after graduating from the University of Colorado Dental School. I enjoys all aspects of dentistry and welcomes the opportunity to serve new patients throughout Morgan and surrounding counties. My wife and I have three amazing children and two grandchildren who we adore. When Im not working I enjoy golfing, hunting and serving my church.

A member of Brush Dental since 2019, Julian graduated from Caliche High School in 1982 and earned his certification as a welder and first responder at North Eastern Junior College. He has brought his years of experience in the manufacturing field to our team and applies it to what he does now. He strives to create a positive atmosphere with our employees and patients. Quality is everything and he believes that we have that in our team and our patients.

Julians family is everything to him. His wife Terri, two girls, three boys, 4 granddaughters and one grandson keep him moving. He loves going to as many sports events as he can and watching his children and grandchildren brings more joy to his heart than anyone can imagine.

For Julian, the best part of working at our office is working with his wife. With a background in manufacturing, moving to dentistry was a big change for him, but as he learned more and more about the dental business he has grown to appreciate what Terri does for our community.

When he is not at work, you can find Julian in his shop building things. Julian notes that with a family like his, there is always something to work on or build. His hobby allows him to express himself, which is something he enjoys tremendously!

Terri was born and raised in Michigan, and graduated from Oakland Community College in Michigan in 1990. In 2003 she moved to Brush to open Brush Dental. Terri graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, specializing in education. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family (five children plus her grandchildren), traveling with her husband and reading.

My name is Ashley, and I am the lead dental assistant at Brush Dental. I received my dental assisting certification in the spring of 2017 before starting here that summer. Soon after getting into dental assisting, I realized the patients are the best thing about the field, as every one is different. Getting to know them over the years has been incredibly rewarding. With my knowledge from the time I have spent working here, I am able to help our patients with whatever they need; whether they need an estimate on a treatment plan or have questions or concerns about a procedure, I am happy to help. Outside of work, my boyfriend and I enjoy going camping, going to the park with our dogs or just going out of town to get away. I also enjoy traveling throughout the year to visit my family in Arizona.

Bailey is fairly new to our Brush Dental team, but is proud to be joining the staff alongside her father Julian and step-mom Terri. Bailey is a phenomenal artist and athlete, and is a member of the track team at her school. Bailey most loves working in the calm and friendly environment that we are proud to cultivate here at Brush Dental. She is a true team player and does everything she can to help out around the office. She loves seeing the beautiful smiles of her coworkers and patients each day!

Dr. Whitney is a sweet man and it seems like he knows what he's doing.(seems like he is in a rush sometimes, maybe old-fashioned, I don't know). I came here because at the time he seemed reasonably priced(initially I was self-pay) then I became insured and he was the only one that accepted my insurance and boy did I pay the price. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I'm so livid at this point that I had to. About 90% of my horrible experience has been with his staff, don't get me wrong they're nice girls, but their customer service is horrendous sometimes and the communication they have with each other can be non-existent. I was given the run around so many times about prices and all of them gave me different prices for the same service, but the doctor was the one that confirmed the price, which wasn't anything near what his staff quoted me(it was much higher). Okay, I understood, I'm reasonable. Mistakes happen. Today, just put me in the predicament of, "enough is enough". I just started a new job and they're very flexible when it comes to days off, so I requested some time off for a day they scheduled to put my crown back in place after it popped off. I got a call from them today, "Dr. Whitney has an emergency, he has to cancel your appointment, when can we reschedule you?" Emergencies happen, I understand, I'm reasonable, however you make it right for the customer and allow them to schedule an appointment during the week that's convenient for them, right? Wrong! Again I just started my job, and yes their flexible, but I can't be reckless with my PLT hours. I could tell she(his staff) didn't care, she just wanted to get off the phone with me! I see that their are so many negative reviews for this office and nobody in this office seems to respond to the complaints! Again, shows they don't care.

EVERYTIME we go to Brush Dental we have a WONDERFUL experience! Doc explains everything he is doing and why and is so great with kids! My kiddos are 100% comfortable going and even look forward to it! All the staff are helpful and super nice and we are in and out with no issues in a decent time frame.

This is literally the worst dentist I have ever been to . I've been wanting to share this for awhile . My first experience with the root canal went smooth . But then I wanted to work on the cavities I have . They told me I had 3 cavities he literally took 20 mins from numbing to drilling and filling these cavities . Charged me 1500 plus dollars and sent me on my way . Not even a month later I felt a hole in one of the cavities he "fixed" between the teeth and terrible pain from hot and cold so I reached out and returned and they agreed to fix it with no charge of course and not even a few weeks later the hole was back again and the pain . I found a new dentist in the area a wonderful dentist with nice caring people . I had x rays done and come to find out every single cavities was filled so poorly and have a thing called over hangs . They recommend I get all the cavities re done to avoid future issues but did not want to send me back to the brush dentist . The one with the hole has been exposed for so long and irritated from the over hang left by previous dentist that the new one I found tried his best but could not repair . So now I'm looking at a root canal on a tooth that was once a simple cavity . Be careful who you trust teeth are not a joke and this guy seems to be in a rush and only out for the money as I was told I had multiple other cavities I actually never had .

Let me preface this with; the last time I was there was 4 years ago. I am also scared to death of dentists and had two VERY badly hooked wisdom teeth that needed removed. That being said: the office staff was mostly polite on this occasion, though I had had bad experiences with them prior to that day. Four years later, I had to finally go to the dentist to have the tooth fixed that was destroyed in the process of removing my wisdom teeth, yesterday. I went to Dr. Armbruster in Sterling. Amazing alternative BTW if you are able to make the trip. When he did the xrays, not only had Dr. Whitney destroyed a tooth getting my wisdom tooth out, he had also left part of my wisdom tooth in there!! Part of my pain was the infection from that slice of tooth! I would NOT recommend Brush Dental! Go literally anywhere else! I know a dude with pliers! Save yourself more pain and bills!

Been here twice and both times the lady, dental hygienest I belive is what she is, seems to always be in a rush. First time I took my daughter in to get checked out, she said she had 6 cavities. When the actual dentist saw her he said only 3. Second time I come in with pain in 1 of my teeth. I told her about it she said she'd look at it. Next thing I know she tells me everything is fine and my teeth look great. I ask what about my pain, she answers "sometimes teeth tend to do that to get you to go to the dentist" what? So here I am 1 month later still in pain. I can't take it anymore, I go get a second opinion and guess what? I need to get a root cannal because I have a broken tooth and infection in it. Needless to say I will not be visiting here again.

The office personnel are wonderful and very helpful. The dentist is an amazing doctor! His bedside manner is absolutely wonderful! He makes you feel comfortable and has a great sense of humor. I have seen many different dentists in my life and this one is the best one I've ever had!

Every single time me or my family has gone there. Nothing but good things. Just this one time. Dentist was extremely rude. To say they were the worst decision to make as far as a dentist appointment goes, would be more than generous of an opinion.if they've helped you, awesome, but for us, very Motivating to find a different office as quickly as possible. Would be most helpful if you could give less than one star. Used to be able to recommend, as of today that's no longer possible. Good luck.

The staff is always kind and helpful, making scheduling appointments and visits simple. As a college student they are always willing to work with my schedule, and work with me to fit in visits during my short times at home. I've never had a bad experience here, and continue to come here instead of a dentist closer to my college because I know I can trust the experience I will receive here.
