Meet Dr. Swati Patel! She is a Louisiana native raised in Mansfield, LA. She graduated from Mansfield High School and went on to study at Louisiana State University and received her B.S. in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry. After graduating from LSU, Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Swati Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. Dr. Patel strives to provide the best care to her patients and stays current with the latest dental technology through continuing education. Dr. Patel loves cheering on her LSU Tigers, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling around the world with her husband, Karan.
Meet Dr. Sumit Patel! Born in Augusta, GA, and has resided in Baton Rouge since the age of one. Dr. Patel studied at Louisiana State University and received his B.S. in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry. He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2014 with high honors, receiving the Robert F. Eastman Excellence in General Dentistry Award, American Equilibration Society Excellence Award, Academy of Dentistry International Student Servant Leadership Award, and Pierre Fauchard Scholarship Award. Dr. Sumit further enhanced his dental education by completing a Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency (AEGD) at UAB in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Patel stays highly involved in the dental community. He is a part of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and currently serves as Treasurer for the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. On his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys playing sports, rooting on his home teams LSU TIGERS and New Orleans SAINTS, and spending time with his lovely wife, Niraja.
