Dr. Wesley Wise was first drawn to dentistry as a child in Houston, Tx. His curiosity stayed with him upon moving to Chicago and eventually it led him to Northwestern University where he would graduate with a DDS in 1986. Within a year, Dr. Wise had partnered with Dr. Brundage to create their practice in the same location that Dr. Brundages family had practiced dentistry for 3 generations. Upon Dr. Brundages retirement in 2016, Dr. Wise became the sole owner and has now been practicing dentistry in Oak Park for over 30 years.
As a family dentist, Dr. Wise loves helping patients of all ages maintain their smile. Hes constantly encouraged by the friendliness of the people in Oak Park and continues to expand his field of practice to accommodate as many patients as possible. His love of dentistry extends to teaching, too. He has mentored countless new dentists as they start their practice and is a member of the ADA, IL State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
When he has some time to himself, Dr. Wise loves gardening and spending time in nature. He married his wife, Sue, the same year he joined the practice, and theyre celebrating over 30 years of marriage together. As a couple, they enjoy skiing, hiking and spending time with their adult children. The Wise family has traveled extensively through the US and Europe, and Dr. Wise dreams of owning an RV and driving across the US one day.
Dr. Brandon Murphy is a native of Illinois and grew up in the southern suburbs of Chicago. He practiced several years as an associate dentist before forming Murphy Dental Group, PLLC. Dr. Wise chose Dr. Murphy to continue the legacy of the multi-generational practice that Dr. Brundage and Dr. Wise proudly led for decades.
Dr. Murphy completed his DDS degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He gained additional training in the management of medically compromised patients, sedation experience and furthered his dental implant scope of practice.
In his free time, Dr. Murphy is a film enthusiast and will always have a great movie recommendation. He remains living in Chicago and enjoys trying new restaurants and cooking at home. You can ask him for recommendations whenever you see him. He enjoys keeping a healthy and active lifestyle, which of course, starts with a smile.
All our dentists are incredibly talented, but they're supported every step of the way by our hard-working dental team. Their attention to detail and excellent patient care is just as important to our success. It's their energy and diligence that is responsible for so many of the smiles weve helped restore.

I like this dentist office. They are friendly and do a good job. I never had an issue with them.

Great experience, Dr Kristy Cho is the Best dentist that I have every had, I have two more visits schedule , let's see what happens.

Great experience with the dentist (Kristy Cho), but customer service otherwise has been poor in my experience. I've been twice now and received lackluster customer service both times, there was a mix-up and my insurance wasn't billed for a visit and I received a $1300.00 bill. Called to clear it up and received the correct bill, almost 5 months later. The delay could've been my insurance's fault? Called to request a copy of a receipt of my payment, so that I can submit it for reimbursement and still waiting on it. Sending mail from Oak Park to another address in Oak Park shouldn't take over a week, but ??? Got weird vibes from the woman at the front desk with all the tattoos, she's pretty short with people -- or at least was with me, and I also heard her being this way to people on the phone when I was in the office. It's unfortunate when the front desk staff/administrative staff sucks because that ruins the whole experience of the visit, as you have to have lots of interaction with them. Again, loved my dentist but dealing with the other staff is a bit frustrating. Frustrating enough that it makes me want to go to a different dental office. Shame
