Kevin has spent his entire life in the area. He attended St. Marys and St. Thomas elementary and middle schools. He attended Crystal Lake Central, where he started dating his now wife, Tabatha Corbin. Both graduated from CLC in 1993 and went to the University of Iowa. Kevin proceeded to dental school at the University of Illinois Chicago. Graduating in 2000, Kevin started right into the family business with his father, Dr. Paul Bruggeman, and his uncle, Dr. Wayne Bruggeman.
Now a resident of Crystal Lake, Kevin and Tabatha have two daughters Gianna and Quinn. They enjoy lots of fun family activities together.Visiting Disney World being a family favorite. Most who know Kevin are keenly aware of his passionate hobbies and pastimes. This includes collecting Star Wars junk, seeing as many Pearl Jam and Jack White shows as possible, and hanging out, playing cards with his friends and family.
Paul was born in 1948 on the South side of Chicago. He graduated from Brother Rice High School, St. Marys College, and Marquette University Dental School (cum laude) in 1973. Dr. Paul Spent 2 years active duty US Navy (1973-1975). He then taught dental school at the University of Illinois (1975-1978). He has been in private practice in Crystal Lake from 1975 until the present. Dr. Paul is a Member of the A.D.A., I.S.D.S., M.C.H.D.S., C.D.S., the National Dental Honor Society, (OKU) and other professional organizations. He has two sons, Brian and Kevin, and four granddaughters. Dr. Paul and his wife Jacqueline spend the winters in Cancun, Mexico. They enjoy spending their time golfing and hosting friends and family who come to visit. Dr. Paul took his official retirement on June 28th, 2018 but you will still likely see him at the office helping out.
Katie started working at Dr. Bruggemans when she was 16. While growing up, Cheryl Freund was her neighbor and had been cleaning her teeth since she was 5. From very early on, she knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. After getting her dental hygiene degree from Harper College, she and her husband moved to Springfield, IL. She moved back home after having her first child and started as a hygienist here in 2008. She, along with her husband and 4 children,is once againa townie and lives right here in Crystal Lake. Katie likes to spend her free time shuffling down the bike path, reading, hanging out with family, andfrequentingTaco Bell.
Cheryl started working for Dr. Bruggemans office in 1983. She graduated from Maine East High School and then attended Harper College where she received her Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1971. Cheryl and her husband moved to Crystal Lake in 1973. She practiced dental hygiene in the Chicago Loop until 1974. She has worked in the Crystal Lake area since 1975. She and her husband havetwo grown children, Travis and Kelly. Cheryl enjoys her two grandsons, Landon and Logan.
Sandy is our Office Manager and billing coordinator. She started working for Dr. Bruggemans office in February of 2004. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Neil. They have lived in Crystal Lake for over 25 years. She has 3 great kids. In her free time she loves spending time with her wonderful family.
JoAnna started working for Dr. Bruggemans office in April of 2013. In addition to greeting patients and running the front desk, she is our recall coordinator and will remind you when its time to get your teeth cleaned. She has lived in Huntley since 2007 with her husband Nick where they are raising their fourbeautiful daughters.
Jennifer started working here in 1998recalling patientswhile attending high school at Crystal Lake Central. After graduating, she worked full time training as a dental assistant and learning the front desk procedures. When Dr. Kevin graduated dental school in 2000 she became his assistant. She married her husband Zach, in 2008 and they have two beautiful daughters Addison and Charlotte. She strives to make the patients comfortable and provide a friendly atmosphere. She also handles the insurance conflicts and works diligently to get the rejected claims reconsidered. She exhausts all efforts in getting rejected claims covered. You may also see her at the front desk on occasion, or even catch her answering phones. She is also our contact for when the office is closed for dental emergencies.
