I love my job! Each day I go to work, I look forward to meeting new people and working with each individual patient to create his or her ideal smile. Knowing that I am helping my patients feel more confident about the way their teeth look and function is the most rewarding part of my job.
I earned my bachelors degrees from the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. Then I trained as a general dentist at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, where I earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors. Since I was one of the top members of my class, I was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), and received several awards, including an award of merit for outstanding achievement in the pursuit of excellence in aesthetic dentistry.
After dental school, I completed a post-graduate program in advanced education in general dentistry, which is an additional year of training in more complex cases that are above and beyond what is covered in dental school. I practiced as a general dentist prior to becoming an orthodontist.
Participating in continuing education is very important and beneficial to my patients because it allows me to keep up with the constant advances in orthodontics, andalso stayup to date with current products and techniques in all areas of dentistry. Continuing education makes it possible for me to offer the most advanced treatments and techniques to meet the needs of each individual patient.
I grew up right here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest andam very excited to have the opportunity to open a practice here and be a part of the local community. I currently live in Kirkland with my husbandChris, our 2 wonderful daughts, Amara and Alina, and our cat, Cleo. I am fortunate to have my parents andmy brother and his family all live nearby.
I have always felt that being involved in a community is not only a great way to give back, but also an opportunity to really get to know your neighbors. I am excited to find new ways to give back to this great community and look forward to meeting all of our wonderful neighbors.
I have the privilege of greeting you with a smile and will most likely be the first voice youll hear when you call our practice! Im always ready to answer your questions and love working with people of all ages.
My primary responsibility is to help Dr. Bruchal with exams for new patients and those whose growth we are monitoring. I'll be the one taking your first photos and X-rays, talking to you about your treatment goals, and assisting the doctor during your exam. I also handle treatment fee presentations and answer questions about dental insurance and financing options.
The best part about my job is that I get to help our patients start their smile journey and see how excited they are to get the smile of their dreams! I love working with Dr. Bruchal because she really focuses on what the patient wants and provides treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
I am responsible for all the back office ordering, which I do when Im not placing and removing braces or taking X-rays and impressions. My favorite part about my jobaside from doughnut Wednesdays, of courseis connecting with the patients. It is endlessly rewarding to go through this journey with them from start to finish, and seetheir confidence blossom as their teeth start to straighten.
I also truly love working with Dr. Bruchal! She is a great orthodontist, and she really enjoys what she does. She takes extra-special care with each and every one of her patients. Everybody here is great! Its definitely a family feeling here at Bruchal Orthodontics!
When I am not in the office, you can find me spending time with my husband and our daughter. We love to take day trips around Washington to explore what our home state has to offer. We also love to do lots of outdoorsy activities during the warmer months. Like most women I also love to shop, and I love watching makeup tutorials or just general life videos on YouTube whenever I get the chance.
I am responsible for ensuring that the front desk runs smoothly and efficiently, and that our staff has everything they need to give our patients their best smiles and great patient experiences. I am committed to making every aspect of orthodontic treatment as enjoyable as possible for our patients, and making sure that Dr. Bruchal doesnt have to worry about anything but helping our patients achieve their best smiles!
I thoroughly enjoy helping our patients and their families learn how affordable orthodontic treatment can be and how to navigatethe often confusing world of dental insurance. Dr. Bruchal continuously inspires me with her commitment to her patients and how much she cares about not just how nice their smiles look but how healthy they are as well.
We work very hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity towardthe needs of others. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sureeach patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.
For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason toreceiveorthodontic care. If youre self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.
When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile youve always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great time to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors, including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help ensure a quicker treatment time.
