Dr. Mitchell is a native Oregonian, born in Lebanon and raised in Bend. In 1995 he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, where he graduated with honors in 2000. While at OHSU, Dr. Mitchell was class president for two years and student body president during his final year. Upon moving to beautiful Southern Oregon in 2000, Dr. Mitchell took over the practice of Dr. Laurence Ware.
Dr. Mitchell is a family dentist and provides services to adults, children, the elderly, and special needs patients. He offers root canals, extractions, implants, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crowns, and much more. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Southern Oregon Dental Society, where he served as president and as a board member for four years. Dr Mitchell is also a Cerec (our in office, same day crown machine) Trainer. He travels around the region teaching Drs and their staff the ins and outs of the technology.
Dr. Mitchell and his wife, Ryanne have five children. Their oldest, Jackson is an aspiring to be the future Dr Mitchell of our practice. He is currently attending Oregon State working towards his degree. Dr Mitchell and Ryanne are both pilots and enjoy taking their family and friends on flights around the region.
Born and raised in the Rogue Valley, Lindsay began working for Dr. Mitchell in 2002 after attending the Dental Assisting program at Rogue Community College. Lindsey loves helping patients feel and look great. Married, with two boys, Lindsay enjoys spending as much time with her family and friends as possible.

I find Dr Mitchell kind, very professional, & explains procedures, no heavy pressure in regards to what may be needed for your dental care. I also have had Marilyn as my dental hygienist for many years and highly recommend her for anyone!! The office staff are also friendly & accommodating.

Friendly, personable and caring. It's the nicest "prick" I've found in a dentist. "Novocain humor". Love the fact they can do in house crowns.

Everyone in this practice is pleasant and competent. Going in there is much like stopping to visit old friends for a few minutes. Dr. Mitchell has done a fine job over the years doing the maintenance and occasional repairs on my teeth. I can't say enough good things about my hygienist, Marilyn, who is gentle but thorough and so personable. Stacy in reception/scheduling is very easy to work with. There is no need to dread going to the dentist.

Dr. Mitchell and his staff are the absolute best. From Tracy at Reception to Melissa who met me at the front and took me back immediately, got my X-ray, to Doctor Mitchell who fixed my chipped tooth, the care was exceptional and timely. I called yesterday for an appointment and my appointment today was at 4:00 pm and lasted exactly 35 minutes from the time I walked through the front door until I step back out. That included a chat about teeth grinding and night guards. I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell and his staff for you family's dental needs.

I love the efficiency of Dr. Mitchell's entire office and staff. The lobby, restroom, and each room are always meticulously clean and welcoming. My hygienest is so careful, gentle, kind, and friendly. I've always been a fan of dentist visits but to anyone that might be nervous, Dr. Mitchell and his team will make you WANT to go to the dentist!
