I am married to my beautiful wife Laurie and have two amazing daughters, Maggie and Sarah. We live in Germantown Hills, IL. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my two daughters. I also enjoy fishing, biking, and golfing as well as a good RPM class.
At first, I was trying to think of a unique ice cream like Mackinaw Island Fudge, but then I settled on vanilla. OK, sounds kind of boring, but what is better than vanilla and strawberries or vanilla and blueberries? Or, how about vanilla on a chocolate brownie and chocolate syrup or vanilla on an apple pie. Or just plain vanilla on a hot summer day! I guess that is how you might describe me being versatile and having many interests.

We are a locally grown dental team! All of us are Central Illinois born and bred and have been a part of our community for decades. Dr. Mathes and his staff are so caring and thoughtful. I am nervous about going to a dentist but always feel silly after I get to Dr. Mathes's office. Everyone makes me feel completely comfortable and I've never had any pain. I sincerely recommend this office.

The teeth cleaning service was very thorough, and the hygienist was very nice, but she had sniffles and some coughing the whole time when she was cleaning my teeth. I got a cold the next day (not sure whether there is any linkage there). Just think would be better if the hygienist don't clean teeth for others if she is sick.

The staff was extremely nice and friendly. They asked several times if I was ok. Very attentive. The dentist was awesome as well. He was very friendly and attentive as well. I liked that he was not willing to risk my health in order to do what I needed done.

My recent visit was excellent! Candace, my hygienist, as well as my Dentist, Dr Bruce Mathes, are both experienced, professional and good communicators. Kim, the receptionist and administrative assistant is also professional and efficient. Overall a very good experience today.
