Dr. Toy is a native of Stockton, attended local schools,graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School,attendedSan Francisco State Universityearning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Immediately after graduation he entered theUnited States Air Force, where he was commissioned an officer and went onto receiving his silver pilot wings. A Vietnam veteran he completed his military service with a rank of Captain. In 1977, he earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree fromUniversity of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacyand a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree fromUniversity of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistryin 1981. He maintains close relationships with University of the Pacific serving as an officer and board member of the Pacific Alumni Association, School of Dentistry, School of Pharmacy, and the main Stockton campus. He is also Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Restorative Dentistry.
He is the founder and co-director of the St. Raphael Dental Clinic at St. Marys Interfaith Community Center; which provides access and free dental services to those who cannot afford dental care and have no insurance. St. Raphael Dental Clinic sees over 2000 patients annually with volunteer dentist from the San Joaquin Dental Society.

I've been coming to see Dr Toy and Dr Reed for a long long time. Started with Dr Toy. Both Dr's have always been very nice to me and gentle with my teeth!! Even the girls who xray and clean do a great job!! I've referred a couple of people to Dr Toy in the past also..Ever want to go to a great dentist, I refer these two(Dr Toy only works on Tuesday mornings now) located in Stockton Ca. I'm one happy patient!!

The staff is very friendly. Dr. Reed is amazing. He lets you know up front what he can do to help you. They don't make you feel bad for any teeth issues you may have.

The experience is always a great one! I have never been crazy about going to the dentist, but i highly recommend this one. The dentist is friendly, helpful meaning they tell you step by step to make your teeth better, i tell everyone how good they are.

Coming to Dr. Reed has been amazing! From my extractions to fillings, Dr. Reed has done an amazing job and is a great person to be around. I highly recommend coming to this office. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, it takes a lot of the stress from dental work out of the picture. Thank you Dr. Reed and your entire staff!

Dr. Reed is amazing and has tamed years of dental anxiety by his gentleness and thoroughly explaining everything he does and the reasons behind it. He has a passion for helping people and he takes pride in his work. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner!

Dr. Toy has been my dentist since I was a kid, and truly, I owe my smile to him and his dental team! Dr. Reed has transitioned to being the primary dentist of the practice and he has been just as great and kind as Dr. Toy. The team is so family-oriented and focused on providing the best patient services by staying up-to-date with new dental practices and technology. Shout out to Leanne, too!
