I was born and raised in Redding and graduated from Enterprise High School with a full athletic scholarship in football to Cal Poly. After graduating with a bachelors degree in Microbiology, I was awarded a Deans Scholarship to attend the University of Pacific, School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, where I earned my DDS.
I was then accepted into a one-year Advanced General Dentistry Program at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. There, I focused on dental implants, periodontics and bite/TMJ disorders. In 1996, I returned to Northern California and started practicing in Palo Cedro, eventually expanding my practice to Cottonwood. Since my return, I have been very dedicated to continuing my studies with the leaders in dentistry so I can bring the best options available to my patients.
I am passionate about dentistry and getting to know my patients and helping them discover the many options modern dentistry has to offer. I am active in the community by participating in local civic clubs. I am married to Shelley, and we have a daughter, Riley and twin sons, Ty and Chase. I enjoy fly-fishing, backpacking, mountain biking and spending time with my family.
I am also a graduate of Enterprise High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Fresno. I worked in Corporate Sales and Marketing for 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Chapel Hill, NC. I am married to Dr. Farrell and we have three children. I love to garden, work out, and enjoy spending time with my family.
I feel extremely grateful working in my hometown with Dr. Farrell since 2006. I am part of a fabulous team that provides our patients with outstanding care. Helping the greatest patients ever and providing excellent customer service is not only gratifying, but also makes the office the happiest place on earth.
I earned my RDA in 1985, married my forever rock Tom, in 1988, and raised our two incredible kids Alexa and Andrue, who are my greatest joy. I love spending time with family, my dogs and living healthy in the great outdoors.
I am the newest member of this team, and am so enjoying being here! My name is Bonnie Koller, and though I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1997, most recently I have spent several years specializing in Oral Sleep Medicine (treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea with an Oral Sleep Retainer). I was delighted to transition to this office knowing that Dr Farrell is passionate about Oral Sleep Medicine, and the quality of life and life preserving benefits it offers. It has been rewarding to see the high quality of care that is offered here, the variety of services provided and to hear patients express that they can tell this is an exceptional practice. On a personal note, I am married to the love of my life, Bob Koller. We enjoy the outdoors from hiking to kayaking and often enjoy such activities with our family and friends.
My name is Leesa and I was born and raised in Shasta county. I have been an assistant since 2015 and enjoy working for Dr Farrell for many reasons. Primarily, I love the interaction with our patients and also working for a doctor with amazing integrity. Outside of Dr. Farrells office, I enjoy working my second job as a server, working with horses, learning violin, and continuing my education at Shasta College!

In the past I've been nervous for dentists visits but not anymore. I can't believe how comfortable and easy it was to have work done by Dr. Farrar. I didn't feel a thing for fillings or injections and had a smooth and easy recovery. I'm not even sore the day after! The staff was very friendly and efficient. It's a relief to have such a reliable source for my dental work and the dread of going to the dentist is gone. Thank you doctor!!

So I apologize for possibly a long review Long story short, I have pretty bad dental anxiety, and well as major sensitivity. I've had root canals, caps, crowns, bridges, the works. Every one of those procedures were an utter nightmare, some taking days to recover. It takes me many shots to get numb, and in general, dental work for me is a nightmare. I've been trying to get into Dr Farrell for some time. I finally got a chance when I called last month. He booked me for a root canal which just happened an hour ago. This was my first time getting any work done from him. Dr Farrell is so good, at one point I was starting to nod off, in the MIDDLE of a root canal!!!!!! I felt NO PAIN I couldn't believe it. His chair side demeanor is second to none. Great personality, extremely attentive, and obviously has mastered his craft. I observed how he treated his staff, especially his assistant. He treated them like family. In fact, he treated ME like family. You can tell when you walk in, respect is running rampant through his office. Every single person I came into contact with was so happy, energetic and calming. Rachel, who ran the front desk like a well oiled machine is amazing as well. She talked me off the ledge multiple times when I tried to bolt She is fun to talk to while you wait, and she as well was calming, happy and I could tell she loved what she was doing. If Dr Farrell and staff were trying to get me to come back for life, they succeeded. I appreciate you all SO much. You made my day and month I can now take my son to college this weekend without worrying about pain! See you in a month or soon for that crown

Dr. Farrell and his staff are what family dentistry is all about. They are so kind, caring and efficient. They spend time with you and care about their patients. They work with my insurance and are always prepared for my visit both with financial details and dental work to be done. Dr. has gone above and beyond with his time and patience with me! I've never met a dentist or doctor willing to give of his time and expertise like Dr. Farrell.. I call him an "artist" because he fine tunes his work to his satisfaction. Need more caring health professionals like Dr. Farrell.
