Had the unfortunate (but fortunate) pleasure of using the laser filling machine. The one tooth I had a slight pain with (seriously very slight). The other was no pain at all! I've gotten by for years without having to worry about fillings or cavities but it caught up with me this visit! I'm so glad Dr. Scott has this machine and there will be no more Novocain! I was in an out in a half hour and no slack jaw, woo! Highly recommend. Update 09/26/19: The staff is really friendly and good at what they do but my past two cleanings I felt were too painful. I know it's not an easy job to get in there and be gently while scraping plaque... I've always loved going to the dentist but after these past two visits I really dread going for cleanings. Dr. Scott is great and personable, I think I may mention the next time what can be done beforehand so I'm not so uncomfortable. Still 5 stars for the laser machine that I unfortunately will be needing done again in a couple weeks. My teeth unfortunately have very deep grooves and there's not much preventative care that can be done from keeping the food and bacteria from building up. That also may be leading to my uncomfortable cleanings as well. Still a great office nonetheless but I miss my previous hygienist from a couple years back.

I have been coming here as long as I can remember. I had a few issues with some past hygienists being a little rough when cleaning my teeth. The ones they have now are better.

I would highly recommend Dr. Scott and his staff for their careful and gentle handling of your dental issues, their professionalism and for a stress-free visit. They're always friendly and communicative, so you're comfortable and know what procedures are being performed and why, and strive for as painless an experience as possible.

I'm a new patient and had a great experience for my initial checkup, x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Scott was very patient and explained everything that he was doing. He did a thorough exam, listened to my questions and spent a lot of time with me. Secretary went the extra mile to see if our kids will fit their insurance options and hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth. They didn't try and sell anything to me or recommend anything I didn't need. All the staff there were warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend.

Super friendly staff. They listen to your concerns and questions and give you straight forward answers. Dr.Scott is knowledgeable and will treat right. Best Dentist I have been to!!

I am a relatively new patient at Brownstown Family Dentistry however I am very pleased with my care and the beautiful spirit everyone there has. They always make me feel very comfortable. So much so that I am transferring my son to their office as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I went here for 4-5 years and loved it! Today I took my son in for a cavity filled (he is three). Dr Scott worked for a few minutes and then my son gaged a little because of the water. The dentist pulled all the stuff out of his mouth and proceeded to belittle a three year old. To the point where my son was visibly upset and apologized and asked to try again. At which point Dr Scott pulled off his gloves and told us to leave. I was so upset and disappointed that he treated my son that way, but more upset because I let someone talk to my child like that. If my son is acting up I have no problem with someone telling him to knock it off, but my son was doing nothing wrong. My first clue should have been when he fired all his old staff. I should have realized something was up. I loved this dentist as an adult, but he is NOT a family dentist, and he is not a kind person. I can't endorse someone who treats other people like that. I left the office in tears and the staff was so kind to me. I really wish all the support staff there the best. They are amazing!

I decided to try Dr. Scott when a crown came off my tooth. He quickly made a temporary fix but told me I would need a root canal. I had never had one before but had always heard they are painful. I had the root canal and was amazed that I didn't feel a thing. No pain at all. Dr. Scott and his staff were great throughout the process. I highly recommend them.

needed to have six implants and was so nervious. I was amazed how it went and how they look. Dr. Scott knows what he is doing and is very compassionate. thanks

We've been going here for about 3 years and really enjoy it. The staff is great. I've been happy to never have needed a filling but it finally caught up with me. Today I just had to have 2 filled. They use the new laser stuff and they didn't need to use a needle. I was only in the chair for 20 mins and was surprised that we were already done. Totally PAINLESS just a cold sensation on the tooth they're working on. And I was able to eat and drink right away. No waiting period or having to wait for the numbness to go away. I recommend these guys for everything, but especially for fillings.

My husband and I have been looking for a dentist where we weren't constantly seeing a full staff of new faces every time we entered the office. We wanted a dental "family". We found just that! Dr. Scott and his staff are fantastic! They are always so kind and caring. First time I've felt like we were getting truly good care! Thank you!
