Dr. Nate Porter attended dental school in San Francisco, California at theUniversity of the Pacific Dental School and graduated from there in 2008.He also finished his undergrad with a B.A. in Applied Science. Prior tothat, he did most of his undergraduate work at Arizona State University.Dr. Porter is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, American DentalAssociation, and served as a board member (2011-12) for the NorthernArizona Dental Association when he was living and practicing in Kingman,Arizona. He grew up in Gilbert, Arizona where he met his wife and nowraises their three children. He loves boating at the lake, dirt bikeriding, snowmobiling, traveling with his family, and he can fix just aboutanything. He is happy to be practicing in Mesa, close to where he grew up,and is excited to continue the legacy of an honest, long running practicethat has been in the family since 1955.
Amy is a 5th generation Arizona girl. She has been a dental hygienist since 1995 and has worked at this office since 2007. Amy has two girls, two boys, and a wonderful husband. Reading, family, and vacations are some of her favorite things. And, she says the patients at Brown Road Dental are the best part of her job!
Brenda began working at the office as front administration with Dr. Joseph Taylor, who is now retired, when she graduated from high school. She later decided to become a dental hygienist. Brenda completed her schooling at Phoenix College Dental Hygiene School and began work as a hygienist in 1993 for the office. She is a joy to work with and is wonderful with all the patients.
Jilene is originally from Sugar City, Idaho but has lived in Arizona for over eight years. She graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho and was accepted into the dental hygiene program at Utah Valley State College, where she graduated from in 2006. She has enjoyed working at the office since January 2007. Jilenes hobbies include spending time with her three children, teaching and playing the piano, and trying out new recipes.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. I was born and raised in Mesa and met my husband when we started 7th grade at Taylor Jr High. We have two kids, a daughter and son, who are so fun to watch grow and learn new things. I have loved joining the Brown Road Dental team and meeting the patients here!
Michele has a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University and has worked at this dental office since 1991. She is married to a wonderful husband and together they have a girl and boy. Michele enjoys volunteering at her childrens schools, leading a girl scout troop, and being active at her church. She also likes to craft, scrapbook, cook, and bake. She feels it has been a pleasure to get to know our patients over the years and watch their families grow!
Raina Eames graduated with Honors in Dental Hygiene from Phoenix Community College. Her very first dental hygiene job was at Dr. Nate Porters office 17 years ago! She has done temping all over the valley in hygiene and loves her profession. In her free time, Raina likes to go boating, fishing, camping, to the beach, and on vacations with her husband Dale and two kids. Raina schools her children from home and hangs out with her two cats, Blacky and Garfield. She also likes volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and her local church. She is grateful to have been working at Brown Road Dental for all these years. Dr. Porter and the staff are wonderful!
My name is Koralyn, and I started working as a dental assistant at Brown Road Dental in 2018 and truly love this office. The staff here are all wonderful to work with and Dr. Porter always keeps it interesting with his stories!
I have always been interested in teeth. I graduated from Highland High and the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) Dental Assisting program in 2014, and started working full time the day after graduation. Since then Ive gained more years of dental experience, served an 18 month church mission, lived in Hawaii for a semester in college, and married my husband who is the greatest blessing in my life. We love spending time with family & friends, playing pickleball, frisbee, and cooking together.
Emma was born and raised in Show Low, Arizona. She moved to Mesa to do schooling at Mesa Community College. Emma recently finished her prerequisites for Dental Hygiene and is waiting to get into their program. She is newly married and enjoys spending time with her husband and puppy outside when the weather is nice.
Born and raised in Arizona, Gaby is the middle child of her all girl siblings. She graduated from a Medical Assistant Institute. In her spare time, Gaby enjoys watching movies and going on camping trips with her family and friends at least once a year is a must.
Karen was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She met her husband in college and has three children. She enjoys hiking, camping, laughing and watching movies. She is currently taking Improv classes in Mesa and performs from time to time.
Sandra was born and raised in south Texas and moved to Arizona over 27 years ago. She studied Criminal Justice at Mesa Community College. Sandra met her husband in Mesa and they now have four boys together. For over 18 years, Sandra has now been in the dental field. She enjoys playing tennis, swimming and going on vacation. She also loves shrimp and Mexican food.
