Brown Family Dentistry was founded in 2006 by Dr. Wes Brown. In 2007, his wife, Dr. Jessica Brown, joined him in Newburgh after completing a year long associateship with Evansville dentists Drs. Bruce and Parvin Raibley. In February 2011 they purchased the historic Hose House #5 on St. Joe Ave in Evansville. Over the next six months they tediously renovated this beautiful piece of Evansville history and brought the building back to its former glory. In November 2011 they opened the doors to their unique dental office and began providing general and cosmetic dental services.
Dr. Jessica BrownDr. Jessica Brown grew up in Logansport, Indiana. She attended IUPUI and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 2002 she began pursuing her doctorate degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she met her husband, Wes. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2006 and moved to Evansville. Dr. Jessica immediately began an associateship with Evansville dentist Drs. Bruce and Parvin Raibley. After a year of practice she decided it was time to join the family business and began working alongside her husband.
Dr. Jessica participates in extensive continuing education courses and has advanced dental training through the renowned Pankey institute. She has received training in implant placement and restoration, cosmetic restorations, and orthodontics.
Dr. Jessica is also active in several dental organizations that promote high level patient care and education. She holds active memberships in the following organizations: American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry American Dental Association Indiana Dental Association First District Dental Society
Dr. Wes Brown was born and raised on Evansville's west side. He is a graduate of Reitz High School and is a proud member of the class of 1997. He attended University of Evansville and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduation he moved to Indianapolis and began his dental education at Indiana University School of Dentistry. In 2006 he received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and moved back to his hometown to start up practice.
Dr. Wes has a long list of continuing education courses and has recently completed advanced dental training in dental sleep medicine at the renowned Pankey Institute. Other areas of dentistry that he has received extensive training include implant placement and restoration, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental sleep medicine.
When they are not hard at work, Drs. Wes and Jess are busy with their four beautiful children, Wyatt, Jack, Joey, and Emma. In their spare time, they like to play baseball, take bike rides, and swim with the kids. They enjoy taking walks at USI and patronizing the local golf courses!
Ivy completed her dental assistant degree from USI in May 2013 and began working with us two weeks later. She is a very talented chair-side assistant and will put even the most terrified patients at ease!

Dr. Wes and Jessica Brown are phenomenal. They are both very patient, gentle, and take time to explain everything. I couldn't recommend a better dentistry practice!

So grateful for the Drs. Brown. Jessica has taken care of our family of five for a few years now and always makes us all feel welcome and puts us at ease. Even when there have been a few major issues with our teeth, their staff is always super helpful lining out our budget and planning for care, plus great recommendations for specialists when needed. And no judgement for our cavities! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

I was seen by Dr Brown under new dental insurance and was told insurance required a new set of x-rays. I had just had oral surgery and had an entire set available to be sent to them. They declined and took an entire set themselves, which insurance then denied. They lied in an effort to make money. I am a disabled mother and live in a fixed income. They did not care. I paid my bill and will never return.

Great office! Dr. Jessica Brown is very friendly and knowledgeable. She is thorough, she explains everything clearly, and she works to find the best plan of treatment to suit her patients' unique situations. My dental hygienist is also really nice.
