Dr. Evan Brown is from Michigan and attended the University of Michigan earning his degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the Eta Kappa Nu engineering honors society. He made a switch to his fathers profession of dentistry when he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He went on to specialize in Orthodontics, earning his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate at the University of Rochester in upstate New York.
Dr. Brown believes in continuous learning and has completed many orthodontic courses since graduating, including the FACE (Functional and Cosmetic Excellence) program and JSOP (Just Short of Perfect) program. He is a member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, Missouri Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Association of Orthodontists.He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a designation that only about a third of orthodontists nationwide have attained.
