Dr. Brown is a native of the Houston area who grew in Baytown and attended Sterling High School. His professional education began with 4 years at Baylor University in Waco earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry graduating with honors. His residency training was completed at Indiana University School of Dentistry where he was awarded a Degree in Periodontics while also earning a Masters Degree.

Dr. Brown established his practice located in Pasadena in 1989. He has over 27 years experience and training in all aspects of periodontics including crown lengthening, surgical and non - surgical treatment of periodontal disease, periodontal bone regeneration and periodontal soft tissue grafting. He also has extensive experience in the surgical placement of dental implants.

His treatment philosophy can be best described as conservative with an emphasis on educating the patient of the associated health risks involved with gum disease. He also stresses the importance of the continuation of maintenance therapy to help sustain health and prevent recurrence of the disease. His goal along with educating each patient, is to return dental health, comfort, and function with as minimal treatment as possible in the least number of visits. His experience along with his conservative and caring approach assures that each patient receives the best and most informed care possible. Dr. Brown strives to treat his patients with the same care he would provide for his own family.

When not practicing Dr. Brown enjoys working in the yard, traveling, and tackling little projects at home. He and his beautiful wife Michelle have been married for 32 years have 3 grown children and their two dogs Bella and Buck.

He is a member of many dental and periodontal organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and American Academy of Periodontology.
