Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had a flipper made and it was horrible. I have contacted them 6 times with no response, but they sure billed me and my insurance promptly. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this office. I will be filing a complaint to pursue this further.

Well where do I start. I mean, this is easily the best group of people I've ever worked with. We're not just talking about a funny group of people but people that are actually genuine. I'm a client here and Ashley is my dental hygienist who unfortunately has to do my teeth cleaning while trying to hold in her laughter as I spew jokes during the cleaning. She's the G.O.A.T and for children and uncultured swines who don't understand what that means, she's the greatest of all time. Ashley has been amazing with checkups and making sure I stay on task for making sure my teeth are as clean as my criminal record. I spend too much time being funny more then I should be serious about these reviews but Ashley is great for the clients and for both offices of Broomfield and Northglenn. See you soon Ashley! - Randy

Emily and Bri. This is just a burner account so don't worry it's Randy! Both of my dental assistants who help and get my X-Rays for me. I know I know you're probably wondering why I'm not doing an individual one for each of you. It's because having both of you on the same review is the best of "both" worlds. It's always funny doing X-Rays because it tickles my teeth and the machine runs around my head like a track meet. It's so fun working with you two. I just love being a client with you guys. Emily and Bri, omg I read the negative reviews that this office has gotten and I laugh out loud so much. They're written by the most miserable entitled people. And then there's Josh. Oh Josh now I have to do your review. This should be fun am I right? Josh is a decent guy I would say. I'm joking he's actually a really good guy. Again for the Karen's reading this, I'm a client so I'm allowed to review and speak my mind on my own review. Josh is great and has called me to update schedule or appointment changes. He's worked a ton of hours and has put in the work to help me with payment options and reminding me of my future appointments. I just don't understand how anyone can yell at this soft spoken teddy bear of a person. Josh is always going to do great things regardless because he is dedicated, hard working, and man, imagine having to work at two offices. Jeez. Josh again, love you and can't wait to see you. DO NOT GO HERE!! They diagnosed me with gum disease then every time I went in told me it was getting worse till they suggested I get gum surgery, which I did about a year ago. In my gut I felt it was a wrong but I was scared for my health bc they told me it was an extreme case for someone my age. Fast forward of seeing them for over a year and I was experiencing more dental issues then ever in my life (I have sensitive teeth after the surgery and jaw pain I've never had). I decided to go get a second opinion and turns out my gums are healthy. I was told a couple months ago from this practice that my gums were getting worse again. I had X-rays and my gum chart done at this new dentist that didn't show extreme bone density loss or that I had 4's anywhere in my gum chart. I do have cavities (which Broomfield Modern Dentistry never found). When I mentioned this to the front office they were gaslighting me saying that the new dentist didn't look at my gums. Would not recommend to anyone.

3 years later and I'm still very upset about my tooth crown with Modern Dentistry. The material is terrible. It feels perfectly smooth like porcelain, like I have a horse tooth instead of a human one. Which I'm reminded of every day. For anyone considering getting a tooth crown, I recommend visiting a location that does zirconia lab produced crowns. It's not same day, it's a bit more expensive, but they are 10x better in every single way. My other two crowns, from another clinic, look and feel like my original teeth. I'm 100% getting this one replaced. Just very annoyed still that it has to be done. Otherwise, the staff is great. The facility is extremely modern. (Like the name says.) Great quality services provided. Just not teeth crowns! Trust me. Go with a zirconia crown!!! (I'm getting mine replaced soon.) You can thank me later.

Dr. Shafie and the entire staff are great! Special shout out to Bri. They all went above and beyond to make sure I had some serious work completed for an upcoming trip,and I could not be happier. Highly recommend them, as every other office I have been to only cared about you writing a check. This team was very upfront about costs, and never asked for another dime when my work took a bit longer to complete just so it would be perfect. Thanks again!

Love it here! My primary dental office didn't offer a procedure I needed so I found BMD searching in-network dental offices through my insurance. Originally, I was only going to come here for the procedure I needed then return to my regular dentist, but have since switch my primary to BMD. The staff is beyond nice and helpful. When I say I haven't come across a single person that isn't friendly, I'm not kidding. It must be a requirement to work here. From the front desk staff to everyone who works on you while you're in the chair, the staff is seriously amazing. I always have a ton of questions especially about costs and they're always answered with true concern and professionalism. There's never a surprise bill as the front desk staff explains everything ahead of time with a printed copy of what my insurance pays and what my cost will be. If you've ever had a bad experience with customer service, then you can appreciate when you get great service and that's how I feel about this dental office. I'm so glad I found them.

My family has been going to Broomfield Modern Dentistry for 2 years now and even though we weren't thrilled about switching dentists, due to insurance changes, we are pleased with the staff. Ashley is our hygienist and she is wonderful! She has a fun and personable way about her. I will admit the inside of the building could use some cosmetic TLC to leave more of an inviting and warm look but overall the staff is very friendly and they definitely know their stuff when it comes to the care of your mouth.

The staff is very friendly. One thing they need to work on is when I schedule an appointment especially when I am accommodating with their staff and what their schedules are then I expect the same. My appointment was at 3:30 and my procedure did not start until 4:45. I had something planned later that evening and was stressed I would not make it because it took that long to start a procedure that also took an hour to hour and 1/2. Please start on time. It happened again when I needed my stitches removed. My appointment is at 12 and they were not removed until 12:22 and I leave at 12:30 and I am on my lunch break, I did not have time to go home and walk my dog as planned. Please be mindful that when you set an appointment staff is ready for the person at that appointment time as we are not all off and have the whole day to be at the dentist.

I don't recommend this practice. I went in for a cleaning and they tried to have me schedule a deep cleaning and an onlay that would have cost $2,000+ out of pocket. The whole appointment felt strange. Always go with your gut . After I decided to get a second opinion, it took them weeks to get my xrays to me. They also tried to bill me for services I did not receive. I got the second opinion and have no cavities NOR gum disease. RUN.

Impressive describes this practice. Everyone is very nice and pleasant. Dr. Shafie provides excellent and gentle care. She is thorough, knowledgeable and has the latest technology. I have 100% confidence in her expert decisions about my teeth. I highly recommend Broomfield Modern Dentistry.

At first when you get there they are very nice. But as soon as I didn't go with the Treatment they give me, The front desk lady was Very rude to me. I asked if I could get my teeth clean because my insurance covered it and they basically told me no. It feels like these people are just out to get your money.

I'm a little skeptical about their diagnosis of my gum health as while I do have issues, I have never been referred to an oral surgeon, so I'm going to a different dentist for a second opinion. They do a good job of cleaning my teeth, however, and I do like their digital services.
