I had an appointment set two weeks away for two root canals. I waited in excruciating pain and set up everything around it with work and my family ONLY FOR THEM TO TELL ME THE DAY BEFORE IT WOULD BE 900 DOLLARS ON TOP OF MY INSURANCE. I didnt have 900 to spare on the spot so no surgery for me. It messed up my work bad and I am still in terrible pain. There was plenty of time to let me know and they just choose to wait til the last second...

Dr Kaple is very gentle, meticulous and informative. Hopefully I don't have to have another root canal but if so, he would be my 1st choice.

I was a little nervous because I heard that root canals are painful. Dr. Powell made the experience quick and painless. He gave me a prescription for pain medication but I was surprised to find that didn't need anything, not even over-the-counter pain medication! The staff was great. I even received a call the next day, which was a Saturday, to make sure I wasn't having any pain or problems. I would definitely recommend Brookwood Endodontics and Dr. Powell.

Professional, clean office, courteous staff, & knowledgeable dental team. Dr Thomas did an amazing job assessing and treating me. His assistant Lauren was also phenomenal. If future work is needed, I'll be returning to Dr Thomas.

My dentist referred me here for a root canal. Brookwood Endodontics did not disappoint. My experience was pain free and very comfortable. I was provided an antibiotic to treat the infection and within a couple of days I was back to my old self. I would have taken more photos but I tried to respect the privacy of the other patients.

I love been in Dr. Kaple he is one of the best and Melissa the dental assistant always make this experience nice. Professionalism and friendly, they are on the top their business, I recommend them for anyone want to safe their teeth. Thank you for what you doing. Note: they have a nice view.

Honestly, the facility is a very nice establishment and the staff is nice initially. However, when it comes to follow ups and medical request they are not skilled with following through or responding to patient concerns.

Everyone was so kind and accommodating! They worked me in and and stayed late to perform my 2 root canals. The doctor asked several times how I was doing and reassured me I was doing great. The staff and doctor made a seemingly scary/uncomfortable procedure seem so easy. I had little to no pain during and after the procedure. So grateful!

I had a root canal done here. I went back due to pain a month later. Dr Thomas said everything was fine two months went by I was crying in pain. I spent all that money then had to have tooth removed. I was telling my mom about this, she said she used them about 10 years ago and had same results. It cost over a $1000.00 to have a root canal btw more like $1600.00 avoid this place.

UPDATE: I was called on 3/24/22 after leaving this review on the website. I expressed the same as posted below and I was told "I didn't have to call you, so calling shows I care" Actually saying "I didn't have to call you" shows me that you truly don't. I was called simply to say that you did follow up with me. My appointment for a root canal was scheduled for 3/15/22. I followed instructions provided by the Dr and only had soup and a smoothie to eat. Later that night the crown covering the tooth fell off. I called 3/16/22 as soon as the office opened. I was brushed off and told it was not the responsibility of their office and advised to call my dentist. After spending $1,230 out of pocket on yesterday, 3/15/22 I felt like I didn't matter as a patient and that I was seen as the next dollar. This review may matter and it may not. I simply hope that no other patient feels the helpless feeling I felt after trusting this office with my procedure and spending $1,230.

I cannot brag enough about my experience here at Brookwood Endodontics! I am still blown away about how kind and friendly the office staff is! My doctor was amazing and made my first root canal seem like nothing! Also love the perk of a free smoothie after your visit.

I had an appointment on yesterday, 2/22/2022, and let me just say Tuscaloosa's Brookwood Endondontics was too, too, too, too good! The staff was amazing. My assistant was Kori, and she was so friendly and calming spirit helped me during my procedure. Dr. Powel was the same. They were quick, and had amazing team work. They followed up the next day as promised to check on me and my pain level. So to Dr. Powell and tech Kori, thank you, thank you thank you for making my visit easy and welcoming. I can not forget about Haley, who assisted in my X-Rays, Thank you as well. Can not think of anything negative, but only tip would be to bring a blanket. It is super cold, lol. Be prepared like I was and have a blanket in the car.

This was by far the most horrible experience that I've had in the healthcare industry. I had an appt scheduled at 12, and showed up at 11:45. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. When I was finally called back, I waited in the chair over an hour before being serviced. The specialist did not start on me until 2 PM. The staff wasn't particularly nice and didn't offer an apology even once. When I expressed my discontent, I was told that I was "lucky" because some people wait longer than me. I've never encountered such a blatant disregard for a client's time. I will never return.

I traveled from Prattville to Birmingham for a root canal! This staff was wonderful if I could give 10 stars I would. My procedure itself was painless and very quick. I definitely recommend!!!!

Makayla and Dr. Wikle handled my root canals, 2 of them. Both are FANTASTIC!!! An experience I was dreading was not nearly as bad as I expected. The doc is very accommodating and patient. He works very quickly as well. Everything that was explained post procedure went exactly as doc said. Soreness was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. All the staff here is extremely friendly and caring. Very comfortable if I were to ever have to go back. Had one of the first appointments so I really didn't have a wait time. I can say that they were very helpful with scheduling around my difficult work schedule. Definitely recommend, even if you have an hour and forty-five minute drive like I did.

Definitely worth the hour and thirty minute drive! The front staff were very friendly and constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable the entire visit. Grace and Dr. Thomas did a wonderful job with my root canal re treatment. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but they reassured me that everything would be fine. There was no pain at all throughout the whole procedure and if I ever need another one done I'll definitely come back here.

I never would have thought that having a root canal would be an enjoyable experience, but with Dr. Kaple, Melissa, and his staff, it really was just that! Every person I encountered was warm, caring , and kind. From the time you step foot into the office until the time you leave, you are catered to like no other office I have visited previously. My husband is a dentist, and it speaks volumes that Dr. Kaple is the endodontist to whom he entrusted my care. Their business card references Deuteronomy 26:8, and I can honestly say that my visit to Dr. Kaple was truly a blessing.
