Dr. Luke Foster has wanted to be a dentist since he was 9 years old. He broke his two front teeth while sledding down a hill and his dentist turned a potentially scary experience into a positive one. Ever since, he has wanted to help people in the same way.
A native of Traer, Iowa, Dr. Fostercompleted his undergraduate studies at Iowa State University, earning a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Music (Piano). He received his D.D.S. from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduated 3rd in his class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He also completed a clinical externship at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, England. He met his wife Sarah at the University of Iowa while she was finishing her violin performance degree.
Dr. Foster practiced in New Richmond, Wisconsin before moving to Minnesota in 2012. He has extensive experience working with patients who have anxiety associated with going to the dentist Dr. Foster takes pride in treating patients in a comfortable, caring and gentle manner.
Dr. Foster and his team partner with local outreach organizations including Give Kids a Smile, Minnesota Mission of Mercy, and St. Louis Park Community Link. He regularly gives presentations at St. Louis Park ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) groups and local elementary schools, and also participates in the Dental Lifeline Network which provides free dental care to disabled, elderly, and medically fragile individuals in need. Dr. Foster is a member of the House of Delegates of the Minnesota Dental Association. He enjoysclassical music and accompanying his wifes violin students, bicycling and cross country skiingwith his wife and three children, Mary Rose, Clara and Theodore.
Dr. Chia-Yin Lojoined Dr. Foster at Brookside Dentistry in December of 2019, and became a full partner in the practice in 2022.Dr. Lo was introduced to dentistry while working at a dental materials research lab as an undergraduate student. She was fascinated by the art and science of dentistry.Dr. Lo completed her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and a minor in chemistry from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Lo graduated with her dental degree in 2006 from the University of Minnesota. She completed a residency at HCMC, and an oral surgery internship at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. She has been practicing at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis for the last 14 years, and has also served as the director of the residency program.
She is interested in comprehensive dental care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minnesota Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry and the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine.She resides in Golden Valley with her husband and two children. She enjoys baking, yoga, and music.
Stacy was born and raised in the Buffalo Monticello area. She went to Hennepin Technical College for Dental Assisting. She has30 years of experience in the dental field all practiced in the Twin Cities. Stacy lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Stacy is originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2000 with a B.S. in DentalHygiene. She has practiced in the Twin Cities for the past19 years and currently resides in Mendota Heights with her two children. Her interests include traveling, reading,and enjoying the outdoors.
Kris graduated from the University of Minnesota dental hygiene program in 1984. She has been practicing dental hygiene for35 years in the Twin Cities area. The last23 years she has enjoyed the relaxed, caring, and comfortable setting Brookside Dentistry has offered her patients. She loves spending time with her family and pets. She is passionate about tennis, biking and snowboarding.
Katie lives in St. Louis Park with her wonderful husband Gary. She has been married 48 years and has 2 daughters and 6 terrific grandchildren. Her favorite pastime is playing with her grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, reading, spending time outdoors, and recreating memories with her family like camping this past summer.
Brigita graduated from the University of Minnesota. She and her husband both grew up, and now live and work in the area. Her favorite part of her job is having seen many of the same patients for 34 years!
Zana graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and has been with this practice since then. She is grateful to have built up relationships with her patients, many of whom she considers friends. She lives in Minnetonka with her husband Jay. Her 2 sons, daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren are the gifts in her life.
