Dr. Brooks has lived in Saint Joseph, MO most of his life. He attended Central High School and Missouri Western State University before attending UMKC School of Dentistry. Dr. Brooks has been practicing dentistry in Saint Joseph since 2011.
Taylorhas been practicing dental hygiene since 2010. She is originally from Gallatin, MO.She graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry-Dental Hygiene Program in 2010.Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her 3 sons.
Paula started her position as office manager in October of 2015.She was a dental assistant for over 17 years prior tothis,inlcuding assisting Dr. Brooks for 4 years.Paula and her husband, Cody, have a daughter and two sons. They love spending time together,including thier extended family and friends.
Erin joined us at Brooks Family Dentistry in the summer of 2017. When not practicing dental hygiene, Erin likes spending time with her fianc and 3 dogs (Chloe, Pepper, and Luna). Erin graduated at the top of her dental hygiene class (Hillyard Technical School 2016). Erin was also the recipient of 2016 MDHA outstanding student award.
Alanah joined our team in May of 2021. Alanah has expanded functions training in several areas of dental procedures we perform at Brooks Family Dentistry. When we are not working Alanah loves spending time with her children Teagan and Tayven.

Wonderful practice, friendly staff and smooth operations. Dr. Brooks is incredibly outgoing, knowledgeable, and great with our kids! 100% recommend.

I have been to a few bad dentists which eventually led me to just deal with tooth pain for years. I finally made a dental plan here and had a painless, and quick tooth extraction. Dr. Brooks is awesome! The whole staff is always very nice as well.

I love the staff. Dr Brooks is so kind. I'm one of those patients always in a hurry and they get me out quickly while getting my teeth cleaned perfectly.

I always feel taken care of at Brooks Family Dentistry. Awesome staff, quick wait times, and an amazing level of care from the moment you walk in until the appointment is complete. Dr. Brooks and staff care about my dental hygiene and truly want the best outcome each time I'm in. Big fan of this place!

Best dentist i have ever been to...never a bad experience and Dr. Brooks makes sure you dont feel any pain....never a long wait to get in and the whole staff makes you feel like a person not just an insurance check....I have and will continue to recommend friends and family to them....A++++ service....

Best dentist i have ever been to...never a bad experience and Dr. Brooks makes sure you dont feel any pain....never a long wait to get in and the whole staff makes you feel like a person not just an insurance check....I have and will continue to recommend friends and family to them....A++++ service....

I was looking for a new dentist and had been having some problems with a crown. My very first appointment Dr. Brooks put on a temporary crown. I was surprised to have this done the first appointment as I was not having pain but I went along with it as I'm not the doctor. The temporary crown lasted just under 49 hours, well short of my appointment for a permanent crown in two weeks. When I called and spoke with Paula, she said, and I quote, "well it is a temporary crown". This temporary crown cost over $800. Needlessto say, I cancelled my appointment for a permanent crown. Dr. Brooks and other staff I dealt with were nice BUT I would not recommend this practice as it seemed to me they care mostly about making money and not patient care.

I was looking for a skilled dentist who doesn't try to scare me into services I just don't need (e.g. Invisalign) for the sake of their revenue stream. I wanted a dentist who cares about the health of my teeth as much as I do. I wanted a dentist office that is friendly and welcoming. I found all of that in Brooks Family Dentistry! My dental health has been in the hands of Dr. Brooks for several years now and I am a very happy client. I have a gum issue with a capped tooth and I can say it's in better health right now than it has been for years. My husband goes here as well as I wouldn't let him stay with a previous dentist that was all about their bottom line regardless of what is in the best interest of the patient. I highly recommend this office for your family dental care. We are both happy to be clients of Dr. Brooks!

Dr. Brooks saved the day when my 2 year old was in great pain and broke her tooth. Not only was he great with her, but he was great with heartbroken parents! We love the whole practice!

I had a great experience today! Dr. Brooks did a wonderful job on my fillings! Painless and always made sure I was comfortable! Highly recommend!!!
