Dr. Kotonias was born and raised on Minnesotas Iron Range in Hibbing. He is a Graduate of theUniversity of Minnesotareceiving his bachelors and doctorate of dental surgery in 1989. He has been practicing in the metro area since.
In 2000 Dr. Kotonias acquired the dental practice of Dr. William D.C. Mattison who had been treating his patients in Brooklyn Center since 1961. Four years later Dr. Kotonias acquired the practice of Dr. Lloyd J. Weber who had been treating his patients in Brooklyn Center since 1965.
He has spent countless hours of continuing education to maintain a high quality of patient care. Dr. Kotonias is married with four children. Hobbies include conditioning, strength training, and hockey.
Born an artist, raised as an engineer, refined as a dentist. Dr. Lam Tu is the newest addition to the Brooklyn Boulevard Dental family. He holds both a bachelors in engineering and doctor of dentistry degree from the University of Minnesota. Finishing in 2011, Dr. Tu added a bonus year to study dentistry on the toughest patients in the state at a General Practice Residency program at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Tu went on to spend years studying implantology under the guidance of the recently passed and highly revered instructor Dr. Misch who wrote the most used dental reference book on dental implants.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tu spends time reading self improvement, working on fitness, and traveling to remote destinations in search of unseen landscape photography experiences. Ask about the time he slept for several nights in the largest cave in the world to find out how adventurous he is.
Dr. Spanish received a bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth where he studied Biology. He graduated from theUniversity of Minnesota Dental School, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007. Continually enriching his medical knowledge, Dr. Spanish participates in many continuing education seminars and conferences maintaining and learning the latest techniques and technologies to better serve and comfort his patients.
