Dr. Khaled El Rafie is a welcoming and comforting dentist serving his patients in Brookline. Dr. El Rafie is originally from Alexandria, Egypt and moved to the U.S. sixteen years ago. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where he graduated with honors with degrees in Biology and Finance. During college, Dr. El Rafie developed a passion for the sciences and health care and decided to become a dentist. He matriculated at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his D.M.D. degree.
In pursuit of a prosthodontics specialty, Dr. El Rafie moved to Boston and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for a three-year postgraduate residency program. After graduating with High Honors, Dr. El Rafie completed the American Board of Prosthodontics examinations and became an American Board Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. El Rafie finds great satisfaction in caring for his patients in private practice as well as teaching as a Clinical Faculty in Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Tufts University. His clinical and research interests are in modern dental materials, ceramics, dental implants and minimally invasive dentistry.
