Dr. Khaled El Rafie is a welcoming and comforting dentist serving his patients in Brookline. Dr. El Rafie is originally from Alexandria, Egypt and moved to the U.S. sixteen years ago. He attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where he graduated with honors with degrees in Biology and Finance. During college, Dr. El Rafie developed a passion for the sciences and health care and decided to become a dentist. He matriculated at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his D.M.D. degree.
In pursuit of a prosthodontics specialty, Dr. El Rafie moved to Boston and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for a three-year postgraduate residency program. After graduating with High Honors, Dr. El Rafie completed the American Board of Prosthodontics examinations and became an American Board Certified Prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. El Rafie finds great satisfaction in caring for his patients in private practice as well as teaching as a Clinical Faculty in Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Tufts University. His clinical and research interests are in modern dental materials, ceramics, dental implants and minimally invasive dentistry.

Very convenient location with easy parking. Beautiful office with nice staff and doctors. Appointments run as scheduled so I never waist time. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kwok and her team are the best of the best -- and I'm probably the toughest critic coming from a family of doctors and dentist is, but her entire operation is first class. From the outstanding hygienists (Allison is incredible) to the 3D visuals beyond X-rays -- the professionalism, advanced technology, and expertise both in terms of solving problems to preventing future issues, being a patient of this group is fantastic, Dr Kwok cares and also is so gentle but thoughtful about making individualized plans. Anyone is lucky to have teeth cared for by the best in the business and Dr. Kwok and her team are it!

Just returned from a visit to Brookline Progressive Dental! I was scheduled for a filling, and hadn't had one in several years. Dr. Kwak and her assistant put me at ease and explained everything involved in the procedure. I was completely at ease. Dr. Kwak let me know about any after effects I may experience. Can't say enough good things about this practice!

I have very difficult dental work, several dentists I sew before gives up to save them, myself almost every day suffer some chronic pain. When I went Dr kwark, after she carefully checked my teeth and X-ray, She told me confidently that she can save my tooth, yesterday she worked on my teeth almost two hours Fatally I got crow and so far no pain. I can feel when she was working on my two teeth she was so accurate and gentle, very stable... I really expect I can retune back some function of my owe teeth. This is very important for me. She deserved Best doctor as a tittle.and specially I'm deep impressed they have very warm efficient professional team like Dr kwark's assistant Ms Zaid who was give me pre-check and took X-rays she is very gentle and skillful. I didn't suffer any. I really believe a good dental office has a good team work is very important. It makes patient more confident. I'm very appreciate all them. Thanks whole team. Ming

Dr. Jonell Hopeck is AMAZING!! She performed both my extraction and dental implant. Her bubbly personality and personable demeanor made all my anxiety melt away. Dr. Hopeck tells you what she's doing and why and what the follow up will be. Once again, here's a phrase that I though I would never utter, but my procedures were painless, comfortable and I was even laughing at Dr. Hopeck 's awesome stories. The entire Brookline Progressive Dental Staff should be commended for excellent and personalized service .
