Dr. Ghavamian is a specialist in orthodontics for children and adults. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. After a five year doctorate program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and earning her D.M.D. degree, she continued her education at Harvard and completed a three year post doctorate specialty training program in Orthodontics combined with a Master of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Harvard Odontological Society. As the practice owner she is committed to excellence and the goal of providing the highest quality dental care available in the greater Boston area.
Dr. Fattahi graduated from Northeastern University earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with minors in Biology and Business. He went on to study dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D). He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Fattahi has strived to achieve excellence in every step of his education and has graduated in the top of his class throughout his academic history. As a general dentist he has a true passion and commitment for providing uncompromising quality care for all of his patients.
As a dual-degree clinician-scientist, Dr. Kyle values excellence, learning, and discovery. He graduated from Northwestern University earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering. He studied dentistry at the University of Minnesota and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) with High Distinction, as well as the prestigious one-year Medical Research Scholars Program at the National Institutes of Health. He completed a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in bioengineering from Harvard University. He maintains an active research program developing novel immunotherapies in oral healthcare. Dr. Kyle is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and American Association for Dental Research (AADR)
Dr. Mary Ghattas is a Pediatric Dentist who completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), and her specialty training program in Pediatrics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, she received The Jack and Anne, D75P, Endowed Senior Prize Award in Pediatric Dentistry. She also received her hospital training at Tufts Medical Center and The Franciscan Hospital for Children. Before moving to United States, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Ain Shams University School of Dental Medicine in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Ghattas is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She is also the daughter of a Prosthodontist father and a Periodontist mother, and possess 14 years of academic and professional dental experience, all of which will allow her to provide exceptional dental treatment to all her patients.
Dr. Katrina Torres is a native Bostonian. She is graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Periodontology Selective Certificate. While at Tufts she received recognition from the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Achievement in Clinical Periodontics. Prior to becoming a dentist, she practiced dental hygiene for 10 years. Her experience in the dental field has made her a devoted advocate for preventive dental care.
Dr. Yong Hur is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Periodontal certification and a Master of Science. Dr. Hur is the dental implant specialist in our practice and collaborates closely with our general dentists and clinical team to plan optimal periodontal care and implant dentistry for our patients.

Since moving to Brookline 9 years ago, I have been going to Brookline Dental Specialist. As part of my regular visits, I was advised to consider using Invisalign to straighten my teeth since it would make a considerable impact in improving my dental hygiene. After much consideration and getting an evaluation from Dr. Ghavamian, I decided to proceed with the Invisalign program. From the initial consultation to the final visit, the process was clearly explained and the results are amazing! I am so happy I made the decision to do it and Brookline Dental Specialist was the perfect place. The treatment and care was ideal and would highly recommend them!

Dr. Hur was incredibly patient, and performed a four tooth wisdom extraction efficiently and perfectly. I've had no issues post-op, and whenever I get worried or have a question, I know I can text Dr. Hur and he'll respond very fast. I was really scared about getting this done but thanks to Dr. Hur, I think the whole process went smoothly and without issues!

Our experience has always been great with the office. We do not have to wait much at all and the dentist, Maria, is super nice and very good with our four-year-old daughter. When our daughter needed surgery the office manager was on top of things, Would highly recommend.

I was a bit nervous to come in at first because it had been a while but Sarah was great and made me feel really at ease. My cleaning was thorough, quick, and pain free. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist. Also the music they were playing was great.

This place is the best. I came in for long-overdue braces, and my teeth turned out beautifully. The whole orthodontics staff is wonderful. They did an amazing job over the last year adjusting my bite. I always have a pleasant time whenever I came in for adjustments. The whole staff in the office do a great job. I want to specifically thank Dr. G, Nancy, and Monica for everything they've done and for being awesome human beings in general. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs anything from routine dental care to orthodontics.

Finding a new dentist was a struggle, until I came across Brookline Dental. Dr. Katrina, Sarah, and the whole team made me feel like I'd been getting my teeth cleaned there for years! Everyone's friendly and upbeat and most importantly professional. It made for an enjoyable cleaning. See you in 6 months!
