Dr. Rasool completed his (DMD) degree and specialty training program in prosthodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded a Masters of Medical Science Degree (MMSc.), a certificate in the specialty of prosthodontics and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD).
He was a full-time Harvard faculty member for nine years, and was promoted to the rank of Head of the Division of Prosthodontics. During this tenure, he lectured extensively both nationally and internationally in addition to being one of the foremost clinicians in the Faculty Group Practice. Committed to excellence in clinical care and prioritizing his family needs, Dr. Rasool transitioned to private practice and continues his commitment to teaching at Harvard on a part-time basis.
Dr. Rasool is a member of numerous professional organizations. He is currently a consultant to the Accreditation Commission of the American Dental Association and the editorial board of TalkSurgery.com . He is also a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, is on the research review committee of the American College of Prosthodontists and on the Board of the Harvard Odontological Society.
Following her studies at at the University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Chemistry, Dr. Shah-Hosseini entered the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she graduated cum laude with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and with numerous awards and honors. She then completed a two-year general practice residency at Bostons Brigham & Womens Hospital where she gained expertise in the treatment of medically compromised patients, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in prosthodontics at Boston Universitys Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she earned a certificate in the specialty of prosthodontics.
Dr. Shah-Hosseini is currently a faculty member of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Harvard Odontological Society.
Dr. Isedisha was born and raised in Albania where she Graduated top of her class with a Master of Science in Dentistry from University of Medicine Tirana. She moved to the Boston area where she further pursued her dream of being a licensed dentist in the United States. Dr. Isedisha graduated as Valedictorian from the Advanced Standing program at Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine in recognition of her superior academic performance.
She received numerous awards for her accomplishments at GSDM such as the 'Quintessence award for clinical achievement in periodontics', 'Academy of General Dentistry Award', 'Ozar Hasegawa Award by the American Society of Dental ethics and ACD' etc. Upon graduation she was inducted in the National Dental Honors Society,Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU).
Dr. Isedisha is an avid learner and is constantly taking continuing education courses to further expand the scope of services she can offer her patients and provide them with the best care possible. She offers a variety of restorative and preventative dental services, same day Cerec crowns and is an Invisalign certified provider. Her compassion and gentle touch will put you at ease for any dental procedures you may need to restore your smile.
Dr. Crohin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in Molecular Biology and then matriculated to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD), and a Masters of Medical Sciences (MMSc.) degree. He then decided to continue at Harvard pursuing further studies in the specialty of periodontics.
Dr. Crohin provides various non-surgical and surgical approaches to treating gum disease, as well as implant placements, bone and gum graft replacements. He is a strong advocate of improving patients oral health and actively educates in areas such as proper oral hygiene and smoking cessation. He teaches periodontology and dental implant placement as a part-time clinical faculty member at Harvard University. He is a active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Harvard Odontological Society.
Dr. Rabkin grew up in Newton and received his Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Following graduation, he pursued his dream of becoming a dentist. He received his DMD at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, followed by an intensive one-year general practice residency at Hartford Hospital. After completing his residency, he moved back to the Boston area. Dr. Rabkin frequently takes continuing education courses to learn the latest techniques and procedures to provide his patients the best comprehensive care possible. His passion for dentistry shows through his kindness, compassion, and commitment to educating and improving the oral health of every patient. Dr. Rabkin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In his free time, he is an avid Boston sports team enthusiast, and enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing sports.
Michelle began her dental career in 1995 as a receptionist in a dental office. She then transitioned to the clinical side of dentistry as a dental assistant. In 2000 she returned to school and received her hygiene license from Forsyth Dental Hygiene School. In 2008 she became licensed to administer local anesthesia. She has been an invaluable part of our team since 2004. Michelle's friendly, personable demeanor will put you right at ease every time.
Katie grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and moved to Boston in 2016. She has a bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Central Florida and received her Dental Hygiene degree from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. When not in our office, Katie works part time in a Pediatric and Special Needs practice. She is passionate about continuing education and actively participates in a study group looking at the relationship of oral and overall health. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable while also educating them about their health.

The Brookline Dental Center offers a very pleasant, clean environment. The support staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful, courteous and efficient. The dental hygiene care I have received is very competently and sensitively delivered. I could not have dreamed of a better skilled, kind, more gentle dentist for the repair of cavities, crowns, bridges, and other significant dental matters. I am grateful to have access to such fine care.

I had a great experience when I recently had my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist Regina was great. Very competent and nice. The dentist, Dr Rasool was very pleasant and I felt I was in the hands of someone who I had confidence in. I don't feel nervous going to the dentist there. The office is pleasant and clean too.

My husband and I have been patients of the practice for over 15 years. Dr Rasool is an exceptional doctor and person and he has built a practice of highly talented and caring people. We have needed a range of dental care (periodontal, extraction and implant, broken tooth repair) and all have been provided with top notch outcome. On the rare occasion when one of us has needed to be seen urgently, the drs fit us in. Our dental hygienist Michelle coached me from a problematic situation to now best possible teeth/gums. She is outstanding. I feel very lucky to have such wonderful care and I highly recommend.

I hate going to the dentist. I've always had mouth problems ranging from teeth that don't fit in my jaw, to wisdom teeth, to bad enamel, to TMJ. I have seen two different dentists here and both have always listened to my concerns and fears and responded appropriately. I feel listened to by my dentists here in a way that I certainly wasn't at my previous dentist. My entire family sees one of the dentists here and we all love him, even though none of us like having to go to the dentist.

Just had two new crowns created and placed, all in one afternoon session. Amazing. Less traumatic process than I feared and the crowns themselves remarkably fit as if they were my original teeth. No recovery problems. No adjustment problems. They look and feel great. What a relief!

I've been a patient at Brookline Dental Center since Dr. Rasool and Dr. Shah-Hosseini began. The two of them and their colleague Dr. Crohin have taken care of my routine care as well as a couple of more significant issues. In each case, they've been skilled and considerate. Everything they did succeeded perfectly. In addition, the hygienist I have seen for years, Michelle West, has maintained my dental health with the same level of skill. I have recommended this practice to my friends with full marks.

I have had wonderful experiences with Brookline Dental Center. I've been coming here for years and have seen Drs Rasool, Shah-Hosseini, and Dr. Crohin. They are extremely skilled diagnosticians and practitioners, and lovely people. They hire wonderful staff and have a friendly and welcoming office with state of the art equipment. I have had the experience of having dental emergencies where I was promptly fit in and treated. I have complete trust in this dental practice and recommend them without reservation.
