Dr. Michael Aviel completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at CUNY Queens college before attending the New York University College of Dentistry, where he obtained his doctoral degree. Before opening his practice in Bronxville, he completed a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where he obtained extensive training in implants, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthetics, and endodontics. Dr. Aviel built his experience as an associate dentist in a private practice in NY prior to opening his own practice.
Having been acquainted with the neighborhood for over a decade, Dr. Aviel knew that he would one day want to open a practice in and contribute to the wonderful and familiar Bronxville community, where his family have worked for years.
Dr. Aviel hopes to provide his patients with the best and most comprehensive care possible. He stays up to date on the latest research and techniques in the dental field. He is known for his exceptional chair-side manner which allows his patients to feel at ease during procedures. Dr. Aviel fosters close and candid relationships with all of his patients and always encourages his patients to ask questions. Ultimately, his goal is to have his patients looking and feeling their best.

My first time seeing Dr Aviel . Went in for sensitive tooth with pain. They took me same day . Needed extraction that DrAviel explained thoroughly as he was performing the extraction. His staff is helpful and kind. Dr Aviel is the kind of Dentist everyone needs.

Great service. Very clean environment. Gives good advice with solid recommendation on how to maintain good dental health. Not only can Dr Avril identify dental problems that you were not aware of but he provides proper solutions for them.

Wonderful experience at bronxville dentistry. The doctor was gentle with my cleaning and thorough. The reception area was ready to deal with my insurance plan. Plus open late and Sundays! Bonus.

I happen to go to Dr Aviel as an emergency appointment. When I got there the office was very comfortable, very very clean and modern. I explained to Dr Aviel the situation and he knew exactly what to do. He explained everything that he was going to do as he was doing it and made sure that I was okay throughout the procedure. His assistants are very understanding, kind and knowledgeable. I have never seen a dentist this involved with a patient and I have decided to make him my primary dentist. Anybody that needs to go to a dentist for an emergency or need a new dentist must go to this office because he knows exactly what he's doing. He's very knowledgeable of the issues with no judgment. The front desk makes appointments at your convenience. You get a text message to follow up to make sure you will be there. I could never have known this would be such an incredible experience. I recently visited Dr. Michael Aviel of Bronxville Dentisry in an emergency to temporarily reattach a bridge followed by extracting an infected wisdom tooth. As a first time visitor I was impressed with the cleanliness of his office and professionalism of both he and his staff. My appointments were on time. The procedure to extract my tooth was pain-free. Post-procedure Dr. Aviel called to inquire how I was feeling. My first impression of Dr. Aviel were very positive. We also discussed a plan to address my dental needs going forward. I plan to schedule an appointment to visit him again in the near future.
