Dr. Kirti Tewari has been serving as a talented dentist in the Bronx for over 15 years. She is committed to her Bronx dental patients, providing a kind and caring approach to dentistry that leads to long-term relationships from her dental practice on White Plains Road.
I was born in Mumbai, India. I had a wonderful childhood there, and I still love the local people, the foods, and of course, being near the rest of my family and friends. When I got married, I moved directly to New York in 1987.
When I was in school, I knew that I liked helping people, and I chose dentistry because it would give me a chance to help my patients feel better about themselves. I really think dentistry is a great way of doing that. Its not just about improving their smile, its about improving their confidence, self-image, and their outlook on life.
Early in my practice, I saw a great demand among adult patients for straightening their teeth and improving their smiles, but the embarrassment of wearing braces was too much for most of them. When I learned about Snap-On Smile, Lumineers, and Invisalign, I was delighted. Here were methods for improving the alignment of teeth as well as the overall appearance and function of smiles without so much inconvenience. Ever since then, my patients have loved what I have been able to with their smiles.
I have always derived great satisfaction from delivering a patient from extreme pain or vastly improving a patients smile. It literally warms my heart to help people feel healthier and great about themselves, and I think patients can sense that.
I choose my staff very carefully. They are warm, friendly, eager to help and, of course, very knowledgeable in what they do.The longer a staff member stays with me, the stronger our relationship and the better we work together as a team, so I aim to keep staff members with me for as long as possible.
I would say to them that if you are looking for a place where you can feel more comfortable about receiving dental care, minimizing discomfort and receiving a warm, caring reception, I would definitely give our office a call.

Did not like the fact that she drilled a tiny hole on a tooth she wasnt suppose to be working on and charged my insurance for a post op she didnt even do very dissapointed smh

The staff is really nice and Dr. K is quick and efficient in what she does. No pain at all when doing my fill ins and my cleaning was smooth too. I really appreciate a welcoming and mannered dental office.

Long wait times, LAZY staff, horrible location, and worst of all - she sucks as a dentist! I only visit female dentists because male dentists usually SUCK. I was shocked and disappointed at the lazy filling she gave me, as well as a lower partial denture with child-sized molars. Worst female dentist I've ever encountered (including dental STUDENTS).

I moved into the area about 7 months ago near the Gunhill / Alerton area and decided to make an appointment. I waited for 6 months for an appointment, they told me I was all set to see them on Jan 15th. I called to confirm my appointment and they could not find my appointment, the name was wrong and to add insult to injury they also told me that they are not carrying my insurance after I filled out all the paper work and showed my credentials as well as my insurance card. This place is so unorganized they can't even get the clients name right. Stay away from this Dental office.

Great work has been done in my teeth. I just changed my primary doctor and he referred me to doctor Kurti. I really like the work they did, I feel my teeth are breathing better now. They advise me on how to treat my teeth. They are professional thus. I referred all of my family (my husband and my 2 kids) to them and they are happy to join this family. May God bless this team .

Location is terrible. The dental office it's self is ran down. Dr. K is very money hungry. Refers unnecessary surgeries for more money. Extremely long waits. Also my girl went in for a cleaning, but instead they shaved her tooth to make her pay for a fake one.
