My sister just left her scheduled appointment where she would have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. We were told she would be getting put under. As it turns out, they only gave her 1 shot of numbing on each side and completely ignored her complaints that she was in a lot of pain. There were tears coming down her cheeks and her body was shaking! Her bottom two wisdom teeth were not easy removals and doing all 4 should've warranted putting her under general anesthesia. Please do not come here, they do not care if you are in pain. There are dentists out there who will work with you on pain management, they will not ignore you, they will check up during any procedure to make sure you are doing okay. You will NOT get any of that here. After reading the other reviews, I implore others who have been mistreated to please file a complaint to the Bureau of Health Professions and/or the Massachusetts Dental Society. People like this should not be working in public health. Please also ask for a copy of the bill that they are sending to your insurance to make sure they are not billing for services not performed.

Great experience. Had a biopsy done, and Dr. Chuang couldn't have been better. Listened to all my concerns, and even made sure to squeeze me in when my results came back. Dr. Chuang and his team are absolutely wonderful.

Awful experience, showed up 15 minutes early for a procedure and didn't leave until almost 2 hours later, staff is fine, if you have any sort of dental anxiety find *any* other option available.

This place is honestly a house of horrors. Dr. Chaung was the only emergency dentist available in the area and after an ER visit I needed the tooth pulled asap. I suffer from severe dental anxiety. The dr did not want to hear about my anxiety and immediately started yelling at me, asking me if I want the tooth pulled or not, because he was too busy to listen to me. I knew I needed it out so I told him to start the procedure. The tooth I had pulled was on the bottom, and when he gave me the Novocain the only thing that went numb was my throat and I couldn't swallow. He started playing around near my tooth and I could feel everything. I told him over and over I could feel it, and gave me more shots. 11 in total. I could feel everything and obviously started crying which lead to screaming. The doctor started screaming back, telling me it was my fault, and I wasn't allowing him to do his job and I was wasting his time. THIS IS AS HE LITERALLY HAS MY TOOTH HALF OUT AND IM BORDERLINE HYPERVENTILATING WHILE FEELING IT CRACK AND COME HALF OUT. He continued belittling me, while laughing at me because I needed 11 shots and the lady in the other room only needed one, and it was all my fault. He went on tangents about himself, and it was absolutely bizarre. The techs around me were horrified, one of the techs actually left to THROW UP because of what was happening. He continued pulling the tooth out, I felt every last crack pull and yank, and it was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. He then told me he doesn't prescribe pain meds to " people like me" Ironically I don't even take Tylenol when I have a headache. I have never felt so horrified, neglected and utterly disgusting and disrespected in my life. The best part was when they had me pay on the way out, apparently I was spewing blood down my face and chest while paying, and the horrified receptionist who obviously heard my screaming from another room yelled for someone to help me. The best part? When he was pulling the tooth he actually cracked the tooth above it, and now my entire tooth is BROKEN due to his careless self righteous attitude. This guy is nauseating. Do not go here, this guy should NOT have a license to practice.

I went in to have 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I called the day prior to confirm I was going to be put to sleep. When I go in for the day of the appointment it started with a woman hooking things onto my arm and placing a bib onto me and then walking out of the room. This woman didn't speak a single word to me as she did this. After about 10 minutes I asked another woman what was going to be happening today. She proceeded to tell me I would be having a light sedation. I internally panicked and asked "I won't be going to sleep" she then gave me attitude and told me "this was a dentist office and that takes place at a hospital and this is a dentist setting!" Because I suffer from anxiety I tried explaining that I have never even had a root canal or anything other than a basic cleaning. She rolled her eyes and said "this is your wisdom teeth not a root canal!" I then went on to have a panic attack. Hysterically crying, hyperventilating, unable to breathe. This woman stayed in the same room as me as I had a full out panic attack. She did not even look at me. This went on for at least 5 minutes and throughout the entirety I was not acknowledged. I was not looked at. I was not even handed a tissue. I have never experienced anything so traumatic or the feeling of being with another human who felt so inhumane. She stayed feet away from me while having a panic attack in a room the size of a large bathroom. Later, I was told by the doctor this was my fault and he's now going to try to work around what I did. During this hour long procedure I profusely shook, while the doctor yelled at me he can't work like this and what felt like at least 5 people yelling my name and holding me down. I screamed when doing the left side of my face. He had to ask if it hurt. Going back to my consultation I wear an "end addiction" bracelet for my sister who lost her life. I was immediately upfront asked if I was an addict. I understand the concerns that doctors have, however that is not the right approach and every person who wears an "end addiction" bracelet doesn't want to be asked if they're an addict. Given that I'm a chubby, clean looking, professional women with popping veins, my bracelet should have been looked past. Or maybe even better approached with "why do you wear that?" Because I have mass health this is where I was referred to for my wisdom teeth. I drove here 50 minutes away from the cape. If I could do it over I would drive 5 hours away to go anywhere else. I would trust my veterinarian more than this place. I am truly horrified by my experience here. I would like to say there was woman in this facility who was an angel. She simply looked at me and said "it's scary when you see everything huh" and I smiled with tears in my eyes and nodded as she walked out and put her hand on my shoulder. I was helpless and vulnerable and feeling so defeated and I just wanted to hug this lady. Thank you for being the only one to provide me with compassion and comfort. You truly are an angel.

I did not have a good experience. I waited months for this appointment to get one tooth pulled and was supposed to be put asleep. When the surgery was about to start the doctor said "I don't want you to think I am a mean doctor" and also so I will give you "gentle" medications. I said am I gunna be falling asleep now? He said "give it a minute" then I NEVER went to sleep and screamed as he pulled my tooth. I left with NO antibiotic or pain prescriptions. Would recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE.

Dr. Chuang was fantastic, and the entire staff was extremely professional. Everything went great when I had my wisdom teeth extracted and I would definitely recommend them.

Quick and painless tooth removal. It took longer to get my insurance claim settled than it did to have my tooth extracted. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone needing a tooth pulled or Ortho work.

Had a wonderful experience at this dental office with Dr Chuang and staff ! My fiance Bob had to have 4 teeth extracted and was the most compassionate, kind doctor I had the pleasure to meet . The procedure went perfect and he was kinda enough to squeeze him in , in his very busy schedule! All the staff was very pleasant and I highly recommend!

Disorganized. When I originally made my appointment for a possible mucocele, the receptionist had no clue what I was talking about and gave me attitude. Unfortunately they are one of the only oral surgeons that take my health insurance (cyst not covered under dental) and took the appointment. Emails to confirm appointment were ignored and no reminder call was made. I made the appointment at the end of the year and marked it on my office calendar. My office calendar had been thrown out on me, hence me trying to contact the office.

Please no one go here!! My husband went here for wisdom teeth extraction because it was the only local place accepting his insurance. We were told we needed to pay $1125 the day of surgery because it wasn't covered by insurance. This alone seemed fishy to me.. we shouldn't be charged anything until the insurance claim went through. My husband didn't want to argue with them so we paid. Well turns out our insurance covered everything so I called the office to get a refund check, which they assured me would be no problem. Well after trying to call the office everyday for two weeks straight, I kept receiving the same "office is closed" voicemail. I was connected to their emergency answering service who said they were having the same issue and couldn't get through to the office. Now I have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge with my bank. Please do not go to this unprofessional place!!!!

Dr. Chuang was great. I appreciate how direct, matter of fact and down to earth he is. He did not try to pressure me into removing my other wisdom teeth as other have done in the past and he gave me straight answers. Procedure went very very smoothly. My only disappointment was they did not allow me to keep my tooth.

The dentist left 6 pieces of teeth in my gums and stitched it up! Its painful and uncomfortable. He said they were dissolvable but they weren't I removed them myself after two weeks. His assistant tried to tell him n he wouldn't listen. Besides his horrible dentistry he was dressed like a slob and he had a visible ripped white tshirt on. Please go elsewhere
