Dr. Hejazi attended Rutgers University, the State Universityat New Jersey for his undergraduate trainingin chemistry. He then attended Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2005. Followinggraduation, he attended a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City and Jersey City Liberty Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. Dr. Hejazi started practicing in a private practice setting in New Jersey in 2006. He has been practicing in Western New York since relocating in 2014. To keep up with constant advancements and changes in the world of dental medicine, Dr. Hejazi has attended numerous post-graduate programs, including clear aligners braces, implant dentistry, lasers in dentistry and endodontics, amongothers. He is a memberof the American Academy of GeneralDentistry, as well as the DOCS Sedation Institute.
Dr. Ali Manzar received his doctoral degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he holds a master's degree in Biomedical Science from Rutgers University. After dental school, Dr. Manzar completed his residency at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, where he received advanced training in the full scope of general dentistry, with particular emphasis in oral surgery. Dentistry is a rapidly evolving field that encompasses elements of medicine, surgery and art. Within the field, new technologies and techniques are constantly being developed. Dr. Manzar is passionate about continuing education so that he can bring the most high-quality and innovative care to his patients. He enjoys working with patients to maximize their dental and oral health, regardless of their dental history. Dr. Manzar maintains membership with the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and their cat. As transplants to the area, they continue to appreciate the wonderful Western New York community.

I have a TON of anxiety about the dentist. Because of it, it's hard to find one that I'll go back to. This place has been SO kind, so understanding, and they sit down with you to discuss next steps outside of the room. It's broken down, and explained. Amazing office. Highly recommend.

First consult was great. The staff really took my concerns to heart and addressed them. Update - I returned today for two fillings. What I did not share last time is that I suffer from a severe gag reflex, and while Dr Gulerez comforted me by saying she had seen worse, I have suffered from a deviated septum my whole life AND I am a stage three lung cancer survivor. So I have had my esophagus irradiated in 2015 and it has left me with an even worse gag reflex. I have not been the dentist since 2019 and I was fearful about having fillings done. In early 2020 I was seeking a dentist to do sedation but then covid hit and none of the dentists in the area were taking new patients. Fast forward to 2022 and I needed dental work that I could not put off any longer. To make matters worse, in late 2020 I suffered a massive heart attack that literally killed me (flatlined and resuscitated). I am now an LVAD Patient (Left Ventricle Assist Device) and encumbered with these health issues and an awful gag reflex, I was not hopeful that any dentist would treat me, let alone sedate me. I went in and they used Nitrous Oxide on me. All I can say is that I have never had such a quick and painless dentist encounter. I was able to completely relax and the nitrous took enough of the edge off to help me to breath and not focus on the stuff in my mouth. In addition Dr Gulerez and the assistant worked so fast and efficiently I barely knew they were doing the work at all. They talked me through each step and encouraged me on the way. What I had anticipated would be a long and nerve wracking experience seemed to end up simply being a quick and painless event and one of the cavities was over the back of my mouth so those of you that suffer like I do, know what stress that can bring. A very positive experience as far as a dental visit for fillings. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have found this dentist. I highly recommend Dr Gulerez and the staff at Brockport Dental.

I am new to the area and was in need of serious dental work; more than just the drill and fill kind. The facilities are clean and spacious with up-to-date equipment. The staffers - from the doctors to the assistants and technicians - are gentle and caring. I couldn't ask for better treatment. The appointment and billing staff is very helpful, especially with the insurance aspects of their patient care.

The staff were friendly and professional. I am have a lot of discomfort at the dentist and my hygienist was awesome and very calming. It's been years since I have had a cleaning, and my hygienist was careful and deliberate, and did a wonderful job.
