My philosophy has always been to provide the best care possible. I understand that individuals come to me with different needs and preferences and it is my job to educate and guide them through their treatment decisions. I enjoy fixing someone's smile, but I also get great satisfaction in keeping them healthy. My goal is to have my patients feel their experience has exceeded their expectations.

As a child I was blessed with very large teeth. Unfortunately, they did not all fit in my mouth. I grew up very self-conscious about my smile. Like many teenagers, I had Orthodontics to fix my teeth. This was a turning point in my life because not only did I gain a great smile, I found my calling. I decided that I could help others by becoming a Dentist.

I graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1997 and I completed a residency at the Denver VA Hospital. I gained exceptional experience and enjoyed working with the many veterans who came through the program. I joined Dr. Halek in 1998 as her associate, and loved the practice so much that I became her partner soon after. I live in Niwot with my husband and three children. We love Colorado and enjoy all outdoor activities that it offers.

I love practicing dentistry, seeing my patients every day, and treating everyones individual needs. Keeping up with new dental technology and materials is very exciting and rewarding. Treating patients as we would want to be treated has always been our office credo. You will find our office relaxed, professional, friendly and caring.

I received my DDS degree from the University of Colorado Dental School in Denver and completed a general practice residency at Albert Einstein in Philadelphia. In 1993 I opened my own practice in Boulder and have been at this same Broadway location ever since. I was lucky enough to find an amazing partner in Dr. Tara Rathburn. Together we strive to provide you with the highest quality of dentistry possible.

My husband, Dr. Brent Lang, is an orthodontist that also practices in Boulder. We live in the country with our three children and assorted animals. We all love outside activities and numerous sports, especially tennis.

Dentistry encompasses all of my passions: psychology, artistry, perfectionism. I extend these same qualities to each patient I see by carefully listening to their concerns, walking them through their different treatment options, then ultimately creating something beautiful within their smile. This, along with my conservative approach and dedication to quality, are a perfect match for Broadway Smiles!

I graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 2004 and practiced in both Austin and San Antonio before following my heart to the Rocky Mountains. In 2005, I opened a popular and busy practice here in Boulder, giving me invaluable experience in all facets of dentistry, including surgical extractions, root canals, and implant restoration. As an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Boulder Broomfield County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and Seattle Study Club, I surround myself with like-minded peers who challenge and encourage one another to be the best that we can be, all while staying current with the latest technologies dentistry has to offer.

Having just returned from five years overseas (Indonesia and Saudi Arabia), I am thrilled to be back in Boulder and joining Doctors Halek and Rathburn here at Broadway Smiles. My husband and I, along with our three young daughters, live right here in the heart of Boulder where we enjoy riding bikes and visiting local coffee houses.

Whether its been 6 months or 6 years, when you are here, you are my priority and my pleasure. Your visit shows a commitment to your health, and thats what I value most. Its my goal to make every patient feel differently about their mouth. When you leave, I want you to feel youve had the most thorough (yet pleasant) cleaning ever, and that I took your personal concerns to heart. You are not just a set of teeth.

My training at University of Southern California specialized in periodontics, but experience is everything. After 20 years I know what patients like, what they dont like, and what keeps people coming back to see me. I still love this profession and all the wonderful people I treat.

I received my dental hygiene degree at Union County Tech in New Jersey. With over 30 years of expertise in Periodontal Care, I take a holistic approach to address your individual dental needs. Im a two time bronze medalist in the National Aerobics Championship and continue to teach fitness both in classes and in my conversations about health.

I have always had a desire to help others, and found my niche in dentistry. Since 1998, I have been licensed in dental assisting and radiology. After years of managing dental practices, I am blessed to be a team member and leader here at Broadway Smiles. I continue to not only educate myself but our wonderful patients we compassionately care for daily. Starting with your initial call, Ill help you better understand your dental insurance benefits, finances, and any dental procedures and questions you may have.

I started my dental assisting career when I was 18 years old, 23 years later I am still passionate about what I do. I attended CU Denver and received my EDDA Certification in 2003. I'm extremely proud to be part of an incredible dental practice. As a team, we always strive to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere for our patients.

Born and raised a Colorado native, I enjoy the outdoors as well as weekend getaways in the mountains. My personal hobbies are cooking, golf, hiking, reading poolside, and exercising at the gym. I love spending time with my son, friends and family.
