Norman Saager, DMD has been in practice since 1974. He attended undergrad school at EOSC/OSU and dental school at the University of Oregon Health Science Center in Portland. Born and raised in Milton-Freewater, he chose this area to build his practice.
In addition to his general dentistry practice, Dr. Saager maintains special interest in cosmetic dentistry, head and neck pain, and dental sleep medicine, which involves treating patients for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea through the use of oral appliances. Dr. Saager has been fabricating jaw advancement appliances since 1980.He is a member of The American Academy of Sleep Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
In his personal life, Dr. Saager and his wife Ellen enjoy a range of outdoor pursuits that includes cycling, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and sea kayaking. The couple was married on a tandem bike during Cycle Oregon in the summer of 2009. They are involved with the local music scene, especially the Walla Walla symphony and the Blues Society. They are amateur wine makers and enjoy introducing anyone interested in the wine industry of the Walla Walla Valley.
Dr. Grady Shaver, DMD is from The Dalles, OR and has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. He received his undergraduate degree from George Fox University in Newberg, OR and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He is very friendly and has a welcoming bedside manner you and your family will love. Dr. Shaver provides minimal sedation, pediatric dentistry, root canal treatment, oral surgery, periodontics and more. In addition, Dr. Shaver is also bilingual! Hablamos Espanol!
Giving back is something Dr. Shaver is passionate about. He has visited Honduras on a dental serve trip where he provided dentistry to the underserved and also practiced and utilized his Spanish-speaking skills. Dr. Shaver continues to volunteer and serve through his church and has also helped with teaching hunter safety in Oregon for several years.
Whether its calling in bulls in September, chasing pheasants with his two bird dogs, or fishing where the bite is, Dr. Shaver loves the Northwest and is happy to call it home. He also enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
