Broadway Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is proud to serve Lexington, KY and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of dental medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.
Dr. Nelson is originally from St. Louis and grew up in southern California. She earned her dental degree from the University of Kentucky in 2009. She is a member of multiple dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Bluegrass Dental Society, and the National Dental Association. She is committed to providing her patients with all the facts they need to make informed decisions regarding their oral health.
Dr. Nelson regularly volunteers her time and dental expertise with the community, teaming up with Colgate to give free dental screenings to underprivileged children as well as contributing scholarships to minority school children. Outside her office, Dr. Nelson enjoys exploring the outdoors, being involved with her church, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time with her son, Brock.

I called to schedule an appointment with them as a new patient. They told me they took my insurance but that it would be a couple months before they could see me. That was fine so I scheduled the appointment. I just got a call saying they no longer take my insurance! I was willing to wait three months to go here and then a month after I book the appointment they tell me they no longer take my insurance. Now I have to wait another few months to be seen at a different dentist as a new patient. Don't waste your time here if you have Medicaid because they will say they can take you then cancel on you a month later

Highly recommend it if you, unfortunately, need dental care as I do; Dr. Nelson is very professional and caring; she explains what she is doing during the procedure and is very attentive to any pain you might have.

The best dentist I ever been to in 45 years. My first visit, they did more testing than any other first visit dentist ever did. My husband agrees also. Very pleasant atmosphere. Mrs. Aprille Nelson and her staff are really nice. Can't wait for my next visit.

Never been happier at a dentist office! This office is clean, professional, on time and everyone is super nice! The dentist did an excellent job on my filling today! My last appointment there I had my teeth cleaned and they were very gentle with me and informative, and they did a great job. I'm so happy that I found this dental office!

April, is the dentist, and she's wonderful, she's, gentle, kind, cheerful, and honestly cares about, your dental care. She creates a pleasant environment, and values, your comfort and experience. She always, does an incredible job & I've be her patient as long as she's in practice. All the staff is sweet. Simply thee best in town!

This place is horrible. They made me wait for more than an hour without any explanation as to why or anything. I ended up not even getting what I came there for . What a waste of my time .They are so rude I see why the place looks like that now . If you guys change the way you treat your patients maybe you'll have enough money to move to a better place and expand your business if not you'll go out of business.

Lady at front desk was very helpful. The doctor on the other hand was extremely rude and dismissive. As someone with dental phobia she exasperated my anxiety. Horrible experience.

I love Dr. Nelson she is wonderful and the dental hygienists are great too! I've never had to wait when I come in for a cleaning or procedure. When I got my fillings there was no pain. Not even from the needle stick for numbing bc Dr. Nelson does some kind of sensory confusion thing where you're not sure when or where the stick is going and by the time you feel it it's already over. I really like the office, Dr, and staff.

I have found the dentist that's stuck with me for the rest of my life. From the front to the back A+. Bedside manner unmatched. Professionalism unmatched. Price very affordable. I'm telling you if dentist make you nervous you need to go here.
