Dentistry provides me an avenue to help people, challenge me on a daily basis, and provide for my family in a meaningful and community-focused way. I feel very blessed to have been given gifts that allow me to serve people in my community every day. My profession allows me to give back to a community that has given so much to me. It feels good to be able to do things for patients that they never dreamed possible. It is exciting and rewarding to take a patient that is anxious about a dental visit and actually makes them look forward to coming into the office! To be able to change the way people feel about themselves, and make some people smile for the first time, is really what dentistry is all about.
I am a proud native of Paducah, and so happy to have spent my life and career in such a wonderful community. My wife and practice partner, Kathy, have been married for over 30 years. We have two daughters, Kristen and Paige, a son-in-law named Kip, and a grandson named Maddox. Our dogs, Annie and Nemo, keep our hands full at home.
My free time is spent playing lots of golf, traveling, cycling, and training for a half marathon with Kathy. I am also a huge UK basketball & St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan! Kathy and I are members of First Baptist Church in Paducah. Through the church, Ive been on foreign mission trips, during which Ive had the privilege of serving in Central and South America as a dentist.

I chose dentistry because I wanted to improve peoples self-confidence. I want to help people get the smile they have always wanted and regain the function that their teeth once had. I continuously strive to be the best dentist for my patients.
When Im not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Claire, and I have two beautiful daughters, Lucy and Sophie, and a dog named Louie. If Im not with my family you can probably find me on the golf course, trying to get better at the sport I have fallen in love with. I have a strong sense of pride being from Paducah, which fuels my desire to become active in the community to help it thrive. My family has been in Paducah for decades and I not only wish to provide the best quality care for my patients but through community involvement, I hope to enhance the area as a whole.
I grew up in the Paducah area and have many friends and family here. Ive always enjoyed meeting new people and working with my hands. Dentistry has provided the perfect career to combine these traits and utilize them daily. I strive to learn something new each day I walk in the office and am committed to continuing education to better serve my patients. I take great pride in having an honest relationship with my patients. I strive to do everything in my power to exceed their expectations and help them not only feel comfortable, but enjoyment in coming to the dentist.
When Im not working youll find me spending time withfriends and family. I like to stay active by playing sports such as golf and tennis. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places. Im an avid University of Louisville and St Louis Cardinals fan and try my best to watch allthe games I can. I enjoy reading and I like to try my hand at cooking every now and then. Ive been fortunate to serve on a dental mission to Jamaica and look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Hunt his staff and their beautiful new location. They've got me in for an emergency, when my regular dentist couldn't about a year ago. Since then I've had a cleaning and just today, a great new bridge!!! You won't be disappointed with Broadway Dental

Today was my first visit here and I was very impressed! This dental office uses state of the art technology. The staff was super friendly and provided very thorough explanations. It was the best experience from a business I have ever received. Thank you team for your hard work and dedication!

The staff here was excellent and friendly. The dental hygienist was gregarious and skilled, the cleaning was comprehensive and the dentist explained the treatment plan and the costs are very reasonable.

Hands down best dentist office ever! I'm new to the area and my mom recommended them because it's the only dental office where she's never been afraid to visit. They were very thorough and did not cause pain in my tender gum areas. Every staff member with whom I interacted was kind, friendly and made me feel right at home. Dr. Hunt even remembered details about my family even though we have not been longtime patients. Just wow!

We have been gong to Broadway Dental since the early 90's and now bring our children there. The doctors, service, cleanliness and staff are and have always been amazing! A real person even answers the phone when I call. Our 3 children LOVE going to see Dr. Hunt. How many parents can say their child loves going to the dentist?? They also offer a dental care program that allows anyone without dental insurance to have x-rays, cleanings 2 times per year and 20% off at a very affordable rate. I highly recommend Broadway Dental.

From Kentucky to Tennessee to Montana and then California over a span of 50 years, I have not found better dental care than that given at Broadway Dental for the last 20 years!

Dr Ben Johnson is so personable and made my visit completely painless, taking time to explain what his recommendations were, giving me options, and constantly checking on me during my procedure. I recommend anyone needing to establish routine dental care or requiring more urgent treatment contact Broadway Dental and request Dr Johnson.
