Dr. Jeff Broadbent was raised in Pleasant View and graduated from Weber State University in 2007 receiving his Bachelors of Science Degree in Microbiology. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
He is married to Ali and has 4 children, Gavin, Grant, Seth and Lucy. He loves spending time with his family, playing baseball, cars, and anything outside with his boys and his beautiful daughter. He loves water-skiing, snow-skiing, fishing, and mountain biking.
Dr. Broadbent is a member of the Utah and American Dental Associations. He enjoys meeting once a month with his group study colleagues as a member of the Ogden Academy of Dentistry. He is proud to be a part of a family with a rich heritage in dentistry. His grandfather was a general dentist in Clearfield, UT. His father practiced Orthodontics in North Ogden for over 30 years. His brother Rich practices Orthodontics and his brother Mike practices Oral Surgery. He is excited to live and work in the community here in Ogden.
Chris was trained as a dental assistant in California. She moved to Utah in her 20's with her husband to raise her children. She has been Dr. Grua's office manager for 29 plus years and is excited to work with Dr. Broadbent for many more years. In the winter she teaches skiing and she enjoys her summer months boating, playing tennis and traveling. She lives in Huntsville with her husband and daughter. She has 4 children, 3 step daughters and 12 wonderful grandchildren.
Sandra Dearden - Sandra has been in the dental field for many years. She is also the friendly voice that will greet you on the phone or at the front desk. She was born and raised in Morgan,Utah where she still lives with her husband, Scott. She loves shopping, decorating, and working in the dental field. She loves spending time with her 3 boys, awesome daughter-in- laws and super fun grandchildren.
Jerica Torres is the newest addition to our team since the Fall of 2017. She graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at the Ogden Weber Applied Technology College in 2015. She and her husband live local and like to do outdoor activities with their dog. She loves working at this office where she is able to learn new techniques and connect to the patients. Her kindness and her caring personality is a great gift to everyone she meets. We love having her as a part of our team.
Kirsten has worked in dentistry for 35 years and as a hygienist for 27 years. She is a graduate of WSU with a degree in Dental Hygiene and a graduate of U of U with a Masters degree in Education. In her spare time she enjoys, reading, cooking, traveling and family activities. She is married and has 5 children.
Janalee was born and raised in Aberdeen, Idaho, a small farming community in southeastern Idaho. She attended Ricks College and Weber State University where she obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene. She has many years of experience as a dental hygienist. She has been associated with this practice for nearly 15 years on a part time basis. She thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to serve those in the community by educating and performing services that will improve their oral health. She believes that it is very important to further her training through regular attendance at continuing education courses. Janalee appreciates the opportunity to be associated with other competent, enthusiastic health care providers in this working environment. She looks forward to the future of dentistry and is encouraged by the advancement she has seen over the years.
